## Plunge Description
PLUNGE provides punters with real time notifications prior to certain thoroughbred, harness and greyhound racing events across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.

No longer will you need to be sitting in front of the TV watching horse racing, waiting for the 'smart money' to arrive. Never again will you get home from work, only to see winners you 'would have backed' had you been aware at the time.

Plunge is an independent horse racing app that sends real-time racing alerts so you can secure the best betting odds.

Enjoy the following app features:

PLUNGES
Plunge will alert you to those runners who shorten significantly at key moments of a racing betting journey.

EARLY MARKET MOVERS
Plunge will send app notifications of early movers, triggered in early markets for bigger race days, such as Saturday across Australia.

DRIFTERS IN THE MARKET
Plunge will notify you of runners that have eased significantly in the betting market.

COMPARE ODDS
We're independent from the bookmakers, so we'll show you the latest odds for your chosen runner from all of the betting platforms including: BetEasy, TAB, Ladbrokes, Neds, SportsBet, PointsBet, and more.

PLUNGE RESULTS
We don't hide from the racing results. Check how each of the plunges have performed inside the Plunge app or on our website.

PERSONALISE YOUR APP NOTIFICATIONS
Select horse racing, harness or greyhounds. Choose which country and which day of the week you punt.

How does Plunge work?

Plunge algorithms have been crafted on the back of years of historical data, with all algorithms continuously optimised via a range of data science, data modelling, AI (artificial intelligence) and machine learning techniques for ongoing enhancement and improvement.

The Plunge algorithms strive for the optimal balance between POT (Profit on Turnover) and strike rate, with a distinct focus on quality over quantity. i.e. There are market moves in every race that is run, however on average you would typically only expect 2-3 per day for any specific location or race type (horse racing, harness, greyhound). Users have the ability to specify what race type, location, day(s) of the week, and alert type to receive. Each of which can be turned off/on as often as you like.

Plunge is for punters of all levels, whether you’re a pro who wants to complement the hours put into form analysis each week, or whether you’re a social punter looking for tips so you can enjoy backing a winner while enjoying the afternoon at the pub or family function.

Additionally you have the option to go Plunge Premium: View an additional layer of premium information that includes more in-depth data and analysis corresponding to each Plunge, in addition to real time snapshots of best odds available at any given time across Plunges, Drifters and Early Saturday Movers to assist all in identifying the best possible price instantly. Premium functionality also includes an improved 'Bet Now' experience with direct links to many popular betting operators.

## Plunge Reviews in Australia

### ***-- "Are we still here?"
I loved this app but Does Plunge get any updates anymore? Or is it a distant thought now. Where have the uk markets gone and why is there a horse stuck on the live plunge feed?
-- Docere146, 2025-09-25

### *---- "Plunge does not work"
Contrary to the post that says plunge works, it does not work and i will explain why because people need to be aware of it:
The “algorithm” identifies price movement. Yes and that’s the problem, you can only get in at a very late stage where price has already dropped. It’s nonsense, most prices are $1.80-3 range therefore you would
Need a ~33%-50 to break even and yes you guess right - the strike rate s*cks. Its bad. So whoever trying to get something out of it, save your money.

Also the interface is absolutely terrible. Hard to navigate and just bad overall.
-- ahsiskakwhsiska, 2022-08-06

### *---- "Terrible"
No contact centre, no info and as far as I can work out, no content. Really poor
-- james9220, 2022-06-08

### ***** "Great App"
Very consistent picked winners by the team at PLUNGE.
Love watching the betting account increase over the day without any fuss.
Great app design to re- work any personal preferences.

PLUNGE Team is very helpful and always willing to help out with advice or answer any questions.
-- Reeds19, 2020-10-16

### *---- "Worst app in the world for tips just give you the favourites"
I was on this app since it was released even spoke to the developers worst app only pick favourites just watch the races loss tens of thousands on this app.
-- Johnny T 2422, 2020-09-19

### ***** "Amazing app"
Amazing app, saves time looking at market. Very clean outlay and easy to read, lots of options. Definitely saves me after a bad day of punting! Would highly recommend for someone who’s really into the punt, or just starting.
-- Tristan201, 2020-06-16

### ***** "Wonderful app"
Great app always finding plenty of winners in any countries like U S Ireland England NZ and Aus there knowledge racing is great and there Saturday early market movers are great plenty of options at all meetings in Australia!!! Well deserving of a 5 star rating
-- H Simmons49, 2020-06-01

### ***** "Plunge App"
A wonderful App for all punters , professional and social , daily winners on a consistent basis !!!
-- brody woby, 2020-06-01

### ***** "Good returns"
Market movers is a great spot to find some longer odds and there are plenty of plunges over the $2 mark. Updates to the algorithms over the last few years seem to have reduced the number of plunges and are delivering more consistent winners. Easy to turn off and in when I feel like it so I can have a rest. Well done team Plunge
-- TommaMorris, 2020-05-24

### ***** "One of my fave apps!"
My go to any time I feel like a flutter. So easy to use even for an occasional punter like me. Keep up the good work!
