Still a great app, but harder to navigate
My favourite podcast app still. But for me, this new update is a lot harder to navigate. I used to download a bunch of older episodes but not all of them. So the way episodes were listed, there would be Played and Unplayed. All my unplayed episodes would be at the top where I’ll listen later. Then all played will be grayed out at the bottom. But now every episodes are in one big list and I have to scroll down until I find the episodes I have downloaded but haven’t listened to. Maybe there’s a setting I’m missing? I also used to swipe left on episodes I don’t want to listen to, to be marked as played so they would be grayed out. In the update note it seems like people like to archive them instead. So if somehow you can give us the option to choose what swiping left or right on an episode does, that would be great. Lastly I really liked swiping left on bottom to see the up next episodes but now I its a bit slower. Having to press the button and have the list slowly popup from the bottom. Not really a big deal though, I’ll probably get uses to it. PS. what happened to the discover tab with lists popular podcasts? Now when I press Discover, it is just an empty search page.

But problems with syncing some time. And would you please add to load and play podcasts offline on Apple Watch

Work flawlessly. Simple and beautiful UI.
No Free Trial?
Amazing that an app that cost $40 per year, and is competing against the free Apple app, does not have the foresight to offer a free pro trial for one week. Do you not realize that if you got people to set up folders and bookmarks that they would probably pay moving forward if they like the experience? I can’t believe I have to tell you this. I deleted it immediately.
Now unstable
Been around since this app wasn’t a subscription. Used to be the top app for podcasts and I loved it so much I’ve stuck with it for many years. Recently, the app now freezes and becomes unresponsive to any touch. Hoping the devs fix this soon

Big playback issues
Getting a video podcast to play is big problem. I’ll hit play/pause several times, even full restart the app, and it still takes several tries to play the podcast. Other than that it’s pretty good. Update: downloading podcasts fixed. I did have the setting on before. Not sure why pocket casts would randomly change my setting
Downloaded Episodes for Unsubscribed Podcasts only display under Profile
Downloaded episodes for podcasts you don't subscribe to can't be displayed in filters with all your other episodes. You have to go to Profile->Downloads and scroll to find the episodes. Been an unsupported feature for years. Why isn't this added by now????
