Pocket Pitch is a simple tool for singers who need to be able to quickly identify or play notes. This app combines a pitch pipe and piano so that you have two of the quintessential tools of a singer!
The Pitch Pipe is its primary function. It uses professionally recorded sound so that the audio experience is just like carrying around a pitch pipe with you.
The Keyboard allows for 6 octaves of pitches, ideal for vocal warm-ups or plunking out notes.
The Info page allows the user to provide feedback directly to the developer. The goal is to make the best free mobile app for singers, so input is greatly appreciated.

Easy, Free, Great!
Everything you need. Just a pitch pipe! And piano and tuner! And it’s free.
Inaccurate tuner
The tuner is *very* inconsistent and inaccurate. I tested it against my digital piano and professionally tuned piano. Ex: I tested it with F#4 and it was only correct 2/10 times. I got anywhere from A#4, B1, G2, etc - all saying the pitch was either flat or sharp. The other features are handy but I would not recommend this for pitch detection.
almost perfect
this app is literally so helpful. i can whip it out and be ready to sight read. you don’t have to be a genius to learn how to use the app. it is such an asset for singers who read music. the only thing it is missing is a metronome. i know there are ton of apps out there, but this app would be perfect if it had a metronome as well that was as navigable as the app already is. other than that constructive criticism, it is literally perfect.

Decent, but needs work
App glitches and stops working if screen is rotated, but works pretty well otherwise
The Screen Slides
The only real problem is that the piano part slide all too easily. Unless the screen is struck exactly, it moves sideways. I have tried to correct this in my iPhone, but no adjustment makes any difference.
Help, I don’t have a piano!
I’m leading singing at church in the morning, and our music & worship leader chose a hymn that I have never heard before. I just used this app to pick out the entire song. So helpful!
