This is a great app. I’ve been using it on iPhone and iPad for years. It’s great and is one that does what it tells you on the box. No hidden subscriptions no adverts. Thank you so much Pocket Yoga!!

On the move

I love this app! Simple to follow with lots of levels. It’s quite fast, which I like and it’s great when you travel because you don’t need WiFi for it to work. I’ve been using it since 2019 and my strength and flexibility has improved enormously. Thank you to the developers.

Dangerous if you are a beginner

Blobartis on

If you don’t know what you’re doing already, don’t go for this app, as in my opinion you could seriously hurt yourself. The guidance includes very little detail, and the pictures show the poses as if done by a yogi who is incredibly flexible! I couldn’t get anywhere near the straight legs and flat hands on the floor, and the commentary was super unhelpful… nothing about how to pace yourself as a beginner, whether your hands should meet or be apart etc (eg where the picture is from the side and it’s not obvious). The expectation of breath length is way too long and there was no warm up, and apparently very few actual programmes. These apps making money without any regard for body safety shouldn’t be allowed!!!

Probably..

..the best yoga app in the App Store at the moment. Use it almost daily and coupled with an Apple Watch it is definitely worth having. PS thank you for staying on-top of the app and updating it regularly enough! 5 stars!

Yoga mainstay

I had this app on my original iPad version 1. It's the best yoga app I tried and is really the only thing I use on my old iPad. Very good! Chris

Best app

Alex.V.K. on

If you know yoga, been on a few sessions, this is the best app for good at-home workouts. You can change difficulty levels and set a different duration. This app won't explain every pose, so might not be good for a complete beginner. Otherwise, this is a really good app that doesn't cost a fortune. No in-app purchases or subscription.

Great, only

Why can I not start a yoga sessions on my Apple Watch. If I’m in the gym and my phone is downstairs, I shouldn’t have to go and get it to do some yoga

Fantastic app

Sum Salutation is wrong

mistamatrix on

I just bought this hoping for a simple app to help me track my morning yoga. It looks great and the Apple Watch integration is nice. However the one thing I wanted to learn well is the Sun Salutation and this app has it completely wrong. Starting in downward dog makes zero sense and it falls flat from there. I will be asking for a refund as this app is useless to me.

Thank you developers

This was my official introduction to Yoga practices after having experienced a spontaneous Kundalini awakening and at the same time being quite ignorant about how to manage the energy. The practices from this app have definitely allowed me to have a smoother transition into the spiritual world. I would only like to give a little bit of feedback in order to help make this app better. The practices could have a little more diversity in terms of adding more challenging poses for longer periods or designing sessions with poses that are focused on stretching the body more such as: wide splits, head stands etc. I understand that Yoga teacher have got more poses but this app could have a little revamping on variety. Or maybe even, allow us to build our own sessions but with more poses at our disposal. I hope this suggestion is considered. Thank you Best Regards
