Pockethernet is a tool for computer network professionals.
It's a smartphone connected cable and network analyzer that helps you in the installation and maintenance of Ethernet networks.

The app enables you to make measurements with the Pockethernet device, remote control every function and generate a report of your findings.
Supported tests include Wiremap, TDR fault localization, PoE measurement, Link detection, VLAN tagging, DHCP, Ping, CDP, LLDP, Cable Toner and Port blinker.

Echt klasse das Teil nur was ich sehr vermisse ist dass man in den Settings die Sprache auf Deutsch umstellen kann.
Das ist sehr sehr schade ich hoffe dass der Hersteller da mal nach bessern wird

### ****- "App mit Bug"
Das Gerät ist toll und die App im Prinzip auch in Ordnung. Es gibt aber zwei Dinge die nerven. Das An- und Abwählen der Tests gestaltet sich mühselig, da der Bereich den man antippen kann, nur klein ist und die App trotzdem oft nicht reagiert. Ich brauche meistens zwei oder drei Tipper, bis der Test aktiviert ist.
Ein Bug ist, dass man oft nach einem durchgeführten Test nicht mehr bis ganz unten scrollen kann. Die untersten vier Tests sind dadurch nicht mehr erreichbar. Es hilft nur ein Neustart der App.
Sinnvoll fände ich noch, wenn es situationsbedingt gebündelte Tests gäbe, z. B. für Kabel-Prüfungen. Dadurch müsste man nicht die Tests einzeln wählen sondern hätte die für das vorliegende Szenario sinnvollen Tests auf einen Schlag aktiviert.
