Feel in control of my finances
Love that the platform is customisable. Dashboards and reports are great, and good for checking in on over/underspends. I feel more in control of my finances than I ever have. Have recommended to friends and family.

Best finance tracking app I have ever used, after testing out many. Particularly like the forecasting ability. Only down side is it’s quite expense and I don’t know if savings made by using this app and tracking my budget outweigh the cost of actually using the app. The free version doesn’t offer enough to want to use it without a subscription.
The mobile app is really second-grade: routinely hangs for a few seconds on open, not fully functional (vs web app), ugly, not intuitive. Can not recommend.
I love a pretty app, and this is one of them. It’s perfect for being able to have a quick look at your budget, where the more detailed information is available on the website interface. There’s so much information, I find this tool super powerful and am looking forward to learning more about how to utilise all the features to maximise my use from it and better manage my spending and savings.
PocketSmith is amazing, a complete game changer for monitoring personal finances and spending. I paid for 12m up front, no regrets. After spending a couple of weeks setting everything up and tweaking, it’s now a smooth experience. This app is a great addition to the overall experience.
I love this app and I’ve been using it for a while but since the end of May 2022 there are suddenly issues all the time sync with my bank feed. It’s very frustrating!
This is the companion app to the financially life changing software called pocketsmith. It gives an on-the-go overview and access to some of the PocketSmith tools. For me the biggest benefit of this app is keeping track in real time of cash spending. But as I use it more I’m sure I’ll find many more benefits. As for the PocketSmith software, I mean it when I say it’s financially life changing. If you want to save more, monitor and reduce spending, reach a financial goal or reduce debt, I highly recommend it. It’s powerful full featured software so be ready to spend some time learning how to use its considerable tools to get your finances on track. It’s very reasonably priced especially when you consider it paid for itself for the year twice over within an hour of me downloading it and finding some spending I could stop immediately!
I’m still figuring out if it’s for me. Would love the ability to ignore some transactions because they make the graph misleading. I understand the reasons but it would be much better if it was a native app.
Many of these reviews are now outdated and the app has become a great way to use the app while out and about. I particularly appreciate the bank feed sync status so I can check with the latest transactions synced. If you’re not finding the functionality you’re looking for - remember you can add widgets to the dashboard by tapping ‘edit’. A couple of minor things I’d love to see and would make the app even better: - The ability to update manual asset balances on the go. Either from the net worth or balances screen would be nice. - iOS widgets for some of the dashboard widgets. E.g a budget recap as an iOS widget would be fantastic!
Most of these reviews are out dated. The developer appears to actually take on feedback and has added many of the features quoted missing since. If you’re looking for a great tool to categorise and review your spending, this is it. It’s best to use a PC/laptop to set up, and then the app for continued use. I love that it syncs with my bank accounts - no need to manually enter everything! And you can set up filters so it can automatically categorise your transactions for you. My only request is more editable features on the app if at all possible in future please :) i.e. budgets/categories/filters.
