I’ve had this game installed for year. It is so much fun! How come it has not been update with more planes, missions and locations? I would totally pay for an upgrade! -- jshf673!, 2023-03-18 ### ***-- "Needs more" Please include things to discover on Discovery Island. And can we get some shooter action on those fighter planes and some aerial targets please? Maybe some Chinese spy balloons? -- Duckhuntr72, 2023-02-16 ### ***** "Love this!" Fun and easy to use. And as a licensed pilot, the flight physics feel quite good. Fun little world to explore including aerial runways. Thermals over lava flow. Tunnels. Arches. Aircraft carrier and more! Love it! -- highwingpilot1, 2022-05-24 ### ***** "Very good game" Good physics good flight and good planes -- zeke heard, 2021-04-06 ### ****- "Excellent overall; some issues" I've had pocket wings for a long time; years. Every now and then I like to buy a new plane and enjoy testing the capabilities of each one. I have found this to be a surprisingly accurate flight model which makes real-life maneuvers like stalls, slow flight, and landing pattern work possible and even enjoyable. That said, I have found some issues that I'd like to address. With the last update the DC-3 became nearly impossible to fly. It yaws drastically to the right at all power settings. Something else I've noticed is that many of the jet aircraft bounce like crazy upon landing. I know, it could just be me screwing up the flare but it seems like I can never get a decent landing with a few of the payware aircraft. On a few of the high performance aircraft the airpseed indicator numbers are mislabeled (300kts where 200kts should be). Honestly not a huge deal. One suggestion I have, if you were ever to add anything else to this awesome app would be to add an altimeter. Being able to do approaches to the carrier and other airfields would be so much easier or more consistent if there would be a way to see my altitude. Overall a really awesome little sim that I've spent way too much time on. I don't know if there's any plans for an update but just know you've still got a loyal user here. Thanks! -- msandovalabq, 2020-01-16 ### ***** "Awesome sim!" This sim is different but awesome. It has a wide variety of airplanes that you can fly. Excited to see what’s in stores. 5 stars well deserved, keep up the great work! -- Chippin16, 2019-12-08 ### ***** "Really Relaxing" Are there any plans for island expansion or dogfights? -- CO News, 2019-12-03 ### ***** "Nostalgic" Used to play this when i was 5 or 6 maybe -- Youtubeboi3, 2019-05-17 ### ***** "Pocket wings" Good flying game. Airspeeds are fairly accurate. A little tough to control on the ground, rudder controls would help with that Also a helicopter or two would be nice. Overall a low stress flight sim. Good job. PS the Bombardier 415 should be able to land in the water and then you drop the gear and taxi up onto the land. That might be to big of a fix but I thought you guys might like to know. -- the flying dutchman vmc, 2018-07-24 [View all PocketWings reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## PocketWings In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Berkut 360 | $0.99 | | Eclipse 550 | $0.99 | | Bombardier 415 Superscooper | $0.99 | | Lockheed F-104G Starfighter | $2.99 | ## PocketWings Discovered Keywords - discovery island ## Apps Similar to PocketWings - [Earth Editor](https://apptail.io/app/earth-editor-Nvg/united-states) - [Fly Plane: Flight Simulator 3D](https://apptail.io/app/fly-plane-flight-simulator-3d-Dqh/united-states) - [WWII: Clear Sky 41](https://apptail.io/app/wwii-clear-sky-41-Nbj/united-states) - [Air Defense Command](https://apptail.io/app/air-defense-command-Hek/united-states) - [Shoot Tanks: 3D War Simulator](https://apptail.io/app/shoot-tanks-3d-war-simulator-ean/united-states) - [Total Destruction: Mayhem](https://apptail.io/app/total-destruction-mayhem-Kjo/united-states) - [Idle Planes: Airplanes & Jets](https://apptail.io/app/idle-planes-airplanes-jets-qjD/united-states) - [RC Flight Simulator 2016](https://apptail.io/app/rc-flight-simulator-2016-tque/united-states) - [Absolute RC Boat Sim](https://apptail.io/app/absolute-rc-boat-sim-fWCe/united-states) - [Trench Runner - Space race!](https://apptail.io/app/trench-runner-space-race-xVxg/united-states) ## PocketWings Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/pocketwings-discovery-island-zVxg/united-states) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/pocketwings-discovery-island-zVxg/australia) - [Japan](https://apptail.io/app/pocketwings-discovery-island-zVxg/japan) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/pocketwings-discovery-island-zVxg/canada) - [Switzerland](https://apptail.io/app/pocketwings-discovery-island-zVxg/switzerland) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/pocketwings-discovery-island-zVxg/new-zealand) - [India](https://apptail.io/app/pocketwings-discovery-island-zVxg/india) - [Pakistan](https://apptail.io/app/pocketwings-discovery-island-zVxg/pakistan) - [Israel](https://apptail.io/app/pocketwings-discovery-island-zVxg/israel) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
