Podcast Player App - Castbox

A great podcast app, I really enjoyed using this app and definitely recommend to download Castbox

I was so prepared to love this app! Would like the developer to consider some concerns that I have: 1. There is a serious lag when using the app, in that it takes several seconds for the app to be responsive. Eg if I were to tap on the subscribe button, it doesn’t respond immediately and takes a long time to refresh 2. There is no option to choose to download all episodes of a newly subscribed podcast, you have to download one by one. Or if there is, it is not apparent to me. If there is over 600+ episodes to download, that’s a significant time to spend just downloading 3. The app apparently does not work well in the background. Once your device auto-locks or you go to another app while waiting for the download, the app just restarts and you have to go back to the download list and click “start all” to start downloading the episodes in the download list all over again. It doesn’t download in the background. And that’s after you have to wait for the app to respond i.e. see point 1 on lagging

1. I try to edit and save my title on creator studio, but it doesn’t reflect on app,it still remain the old title 2. When I try to ask my friend subscribe my channel , it doesn’t reflect on app, it take long time to refresh and increase the amount of subscribe 3. Schedule was so slow, it doesn’t schedule my podcast, maybe the Cron job and the time zone settings not good enough 4. And I try to add new podcast manually, it doesn’t show and update to the app, it very delay

Years of swapping back and forth between podcast apps trying to find one that isn’t frustrating lacking. Sometimes it’s just one basic feature (i.e. mark all as unplayed, delete all downloads, etc) but I just couldn’t seem to find any that did everything that I needed. And the ones that did looked terrible and were awful to navigate. I just don’t get it, it’s basic stuff. And the app I have been using just did a big update and removed a bunch of features! Why!? Castbox nailed it here, loving the app. Bonus features I like: a direct button for airplay, and it’s very easy to import/export ALL podcasts from other apps without tediously downloading 1 episode of each first.

Sometimes, I like to listen to a podcast episode before deciding to subscribe. If I forget to subscribe, close the app, or switch to another podcast, I want to be able to look through my playback history to find the podcast I was just listening to. Could this feature be added? I believe it would be very useful. Thank you!

For the last year, when I try to open app, it opens real quick but closes or crashes closed on my iPhone XS? No other apps hav ever done this. I am all updated etc.
