Podcast Player App - Castbox

After persevering with apple podcasts finally decided to ditch it and seek an alternative after the latest round of (unhelpful) changes. Road tested a couple of apps and decided on Castbox. All the tools and shortcuts required for subscription curation , downloads and ease of access and to enable a stripped down , minimalist approach to the podcasts I want to listen to. Will decide on a subscription in the next few days but highly likely. I should have made the switch earlier.

Beautiful UI and easy to use. However, can I request for widget that can change background color? The orange is not suitable when another app is dark

As far as I’m concerned, this application has a beautiful design and also has the perfect list for your lifestyle. Their region feature seems beneficial to me. For example, you can choose Italy and your list on the screen will be automatically changed to the Italian podcast (which is so nice). Moreover, I can also connect the podcast into my google home mini too, this feature is basically useful for me and lots of people that have the device like this. Anyway!! I love this application! WTF!!!??!! You can do better ——Update——- Log out & Log in again, and the list came back. You have become my no.1 go-to podcast app again! (I have 6 in my phone right now)

Years of swapping back and forth between podcast apps trying to find one that isn’t frustrating lacking. Sometimes it’s just one basic feature (i.e. mark all as unplayed, delete all downloads, etc) but I just couldn’t seem to find any that did everything that I needed. And the ones that did looked terrible and were awful to navigate. I just don’t get it, it’s basic stuff. And the app I have been using just did a big update and removed a bunch of features! Why!? Castbox nailed it here, loving the app. Bonus features I like: a direct button for airplay, and it’s very easy to import/export ALL podcasts from other apps without tediously downloading 1 episode of each first.

Amazing app for podcasts learning and listening

Sometimes, I like to listen to a podcast episode before deciding to subscribe. If I forget to subscribe, close the app, or switch to another podcast, I want to be able to look through my playback history to find the podcast I was just listening to. Could this feature be added? I believe it would be very useful. Thank you!
