At first it was a fun app being able to make your own bots and talk to them. But now you can barely say anything without it acting like what you’re saying is “inappropriate” and the 100 message limit is crazy considering you can’t even send 4 messages without it saying you’re sending messages too fast, and it’ll take one of the 100 messages do that too which is a waste.
Love the app, daily assistance when I need help or don’t understand something, I love AI, it’s designed to help us, and that’s exactly what this app does. Interestingly, there’s more to this app than assistance though, but I can go on lol. Some weird things I’ve noticed though sometimes the response will come out in code format, but a refresh helps hehe, there’s times when responses are kinda delayed but rarely really. One thing I wouldn’t prefer though is when I return to the app to not get back to the Home Screen, I’d like to see my previous chat, maybe it’s a setting though…anyways it’s a great app!
I feel that the chat bots offered by Poe have great potential. Unlike most people I have not made a snap judgment about whether artificial intelligence is good or bad. This is not a binary scenario. I have been able to accomplish some wonderful things using different bots on this platform. Occasionally one of them will refuse to answer a valid question because of some ridiculous programming that tells them they must've discussed this particular topic with anyone for any reason, and sometimes I have been able to get them to respond when I explain the context of my question and then some cases they have flat out refused. That needs to be changed because if I am asking about about something that happened to me they should not tell me it's against their principals to respond because it's a sensitive topic. Of course you also have to double check their results because they are often wrong as we all know. Because I'm an attorney I don't seem to have much trouble figuring that out and making it correct itself .
bots are good for the most part, super talkative and display thought processing well. but the BUGS. so much for freezing and not letting me finish a chat before exiting me out the app completely.
I had a private bot, and chat a chat with at least 20,000 words, and so much story and character development. I put my phone down, come back, and the entire chat is gone. The bot is still there, all the other chats, just the one I was using was gone. no way to recover, no information. Just gone. My review is going to stay one star until my chat is recovered.
great app but since they wanna shove pop ups in my face ima shove a single star into their darkest-lit places. enjoy.
Nice tool use it everyday for simple questions and ideas If you engage in the conversation it’s pretty good for being an AI
I love this app. It’s my favorite app while I’m completing my masters degree.
Poe is really great! It definitely fulfills me whenever I want to have control over a Roleplay. But there are some things that I think could definitely be better… like sometimes the bots will just control what you do and that can get annoying really fast especially when I’m really picky about replies and refreshing them until I get one I like. I also don’t really like how limited messages are when you aren’t subscribed… especially with me being the type of person to refresh responses until I get one I like which leads to me not enjoying Poe as much because by the time I actually get good responses I run out of messages and than I have to wait a long time for me to get more messages.
This app was great until this new update… why can’t I send messages anymore?
