What kind of Pokémon is Magikarp?
・ It's famous—for being pathetically weak, unreliable, and generally useless.
・ It can't learn any powerful moves—all it does is flop around and splash!
・ When it flops its way too high in the sky, it's sometimes snagged by the Bird Pokémon Pidgeotto—never to be seen again!

Many surprising events lie in store for this pathetic Pokémon. But don't worry—it'll just keep on jumping until it can jump no more!

Tap the food that appears on the screen to feed your Magikarp, or have it complete training to increase its Jump Power! It's easy to do, and with each generation you raise, the next generation grows even faster!

### ****- "subtle yet cheeky"
magikarp clicker is a fresh take on a stale genre and does not fail to both engage and intrigue the audience. 

the graphics and sound design are charming and fit the theme of the game as perfectly as a square block fits in a square-block-shaped hole. 

the gameplay of training your magikarp is innovative in that it manages to include some user interaction apart from the pokemon-defining-RNG we know and love. this is a big step for the Pøkęmõń Čömpåñÿ and i am curious to see how the winding down of a long-standing value of the franchise will impact gameplay for future generations. 

my complaint and the reason that i rate it 4-stars is that incentives are provided for sharing screenshots of the game on social media. this goes against my values because it is well known that social media, especially f*cebo*k (shall not be named) is a portal to government surveillance, counter-revolutionary ideals, higher taxes, greedy corporations, more expensive gas, and hypertension among other maladies.
