Random is not a thing here. If you play Omaha, get ready for more full house, four of a kind, straight flush hands than you’ve ever seen. And it generally sets you up with one of these hands only to have another player at the table hit the next best thing. Two stars for helps pass the time and tournament option solid. Developer response: we are random. Sure.
Trust all the bad reviews. Real poker doesn't work this way. Thought I'd "practice" here. Waste of time.

What changed?Help center doesn’t work! Can’t buy chips!
I installed on my iphone and clucked to get free chips for my homegame with my friends. A screen appeared for purchasing chips with real money. The “x” for exiting that screen was over the $99.99 purchase icon. I unknowingly purchase those chips which i did not want and can never use. I immediately attempted to negate the transaction. The money was immediately taken from my visa and because the payment was made international business no-one was responding to help. I sent screen shots with explanations to pokerstars as well as apple and visa. I never got a response and finally gave up. Be careful. $99.99 is not a comfortable amount to lose!!!!!
I downloaded and click new user but it just kept loading til I manually close the app. Tried again and using skip, same thing and a pop with connection closed by server”. I turned off my VPN to see if it works, but no luck so I deleted the app!

Security settings do not properly save or work. Why is this? Is everyone's info being sold and tracked illegally against the preferences they selected?
I used to have no issues with this app, but a few months ago, it started freezing during game play. What is weird is that it always seems to freeze when you’re in a winning hand. It freezes often while at the same table, and I that issue hasn’t been resolved. It is like they aren’t even trying. When I addressed it, they said it was between me and the developers, and suggested I re download the app. Of course I did that, but nothing has changed. I spoke with other players and many said they have the exact same problem. So I know it’s not my internet. This used to be fun and reliable. Now, the only thing reliable is that it’s going to freeze multiple times during play, and Poker Stars won’t address the fix.
They’ll tell you the cards are “fair” but just yesterday I lost 5 ALL INS IN A ROW to inferior hands. That has NEVER happened to me in a brick and mortar casino in 20+ years. What are the odds of losing 5 all ins in a row to inferior hands? No, seriously I’m asking PokerStars, what are those odds??? Run the numbers.
