Pokipet Reviews

Pet always sick

ksigman34 on

United States

The Pokipet literally gets sick all the time and makes this game almost unbearable to play. It’s annoying and stupid. My cat shouldn’t get sick multiple times in ONE DAY when everything is kept up with the pet.

Amazing

I love it. This game is fun for me and it's just a better journey

NEEDS MORE GAMES/content in general

has potential and is fun a few mins but having to replay the same terrible mini game over and over and over again. having only one mini game really be the only consistent way to get coins is just boring. also you should be able to do more with pet like walk/more play options/more accessories and toys

Simple, easy, cute

Got this on a whim and I love it! I did end up purchasing the no ad + extra coins offer that they have for when you first start playing, but that’s because it was only $0.99. So I don’t have any ads, and it was only a dollar basically which is a whole lot better than most other apps. It’s really not super complicated, you’re able to feed, water, and exercise with one tap. So far I only have one mini game, idk if more unlock later.

Worse than a real pet.

My girlfriend & I have had this app for a couple months now and it’s started to cause me literal panic attacks. I put the pet asleep right before I go to sleep so it wakes up when I am at work. I don’t have time to check my phone at work so of course the pet gets severely neglected for 5+ hours. In attempt to keep it cared for, I set timers on my phone for every hour or so to check on them. I will maintain full hearts, and it still manages to get sick more than 4 times a day & drain my coins. But I don’t have time to play the stupid mini game every 30 mins or sit down and play the game for hours and stock up on coins for the work week to keep him medicated. I just want to get off work and relax but no, I have to sit and play the stupid games and check that pet every 30 minutes to keep it “happy & healthy”. I can’t sit down and play other games without it crying to me that it’s sick, when I fed it meds like an hour ago and filled its hearts 20 mins ago. If I wanted this much responsibility I’d just get a real pet. As bad as I feel for our pet, I’m going to have to start putting me first & purposely leaving the pet neglected for hours/days because I can’t risk checking my phone at work 10+ times to keep a fake dog happy. Don’t get me wrong I love our pet. But ugh, having to earn 1200+ coins a day & playing that mini game over & over every single day has driven me insane. I feel like a real dog would be less of a toll on my mental health.

getting sick every day? how fun..

i’ve been playing this game for about 4 days now and…honestly? i expected more. for one thing, one of the match minigames are almost impossible by level 12, to add that “want to continue on? purchase more coins!” is shoved in your face once you lose. medicine is expensive, and i’ve had it happen that my pet would get sick LITERALLY RIGHT AFTER I BUY MEDICINE. so i’m dirt poor, my cat is starving and sick (and refuses to eat food), and ads for the match games are honestly the worst (the minigames don’t provide much coins either). so if you’re looking for a relaxing time? as of now I wouldn’t recommend it.

Great game! Some suggestions,

I love this app! Me and my friends have a dog named Ting : ) (inside joke) I would recommend this game for sure! However, I have some small suggestions to make gameplay better. A: the ability to see your past chats, so if we schedule times or something we can all see. B: the ads, I feel like an ad every single level is too much. I am glad the ability to purchase it for 99 cents is there but it gets annoying having to skip and ad every time for people who can't pay on online games. And finally, maybe some more decor outside : ). Great game though! I would appreciate if you could consider these! Have a great day!

Amazing game! But.

Can you please add voice activation? For example: “pst pst! Wake up (pets name)!” or “Good night!”

Great game but ads and money is an issue

Luluuuu<3 on

I really enjoyed this game and i like that you can have multiple people helping you with your pet. The issue however, is with the way you make money. The way you make money is by playing games which can be annoying and time consuming. After finishing a full matching game you only get around 20 coins AND there is an ad. After EVERY. SINGLE. GAME. there is an ad. So i’m spending around 15-20 minutes because not only do i need to finish the game but i need watch the ads after. I get you need to make money on the game but maybe have it so we can atleast get more money per game, because if im spending that much time on it i shouldn’t be getting just 140 coins.

Oof

I bet your wondering why I only gave you 2 stars. Well it’s because of quite a few reasons. 1. The fact you have to feed it every day, and that the food costs a lot of gems and honestly, It’s easier to take care of my real life dog! 2. It is really weird how when I clicked solo someone from the team of people who made it was there and it was weird and especially scary 😱 what a lack of privacy!!! 3. To earn the gems, you have to play a game where there are a bunch of items and their are a few specific ones you have to match 3 of, however the rest you match 3 of don’t do anything! And once you’ve gotten all of the required matches the round is over. So after I send this, I’m deleting the app!!!
