Polarr Reviews

I’ve tried several apps, this one is the best.

TinyMito on

App for photography is really based on personal needs. Personally I am not a professional photographer like those in National Geography magazines. Photoshoot is just my hobby and learn over time with my NIKON F4, NIKON D90 and now my iPhone 7. I always edit most photo to correct some lightning, noises and HDR (manually). Adobe Lightroom is my favourite on my desktop PC/MAC but these days, I am mobile and I don’t really spend as much time sitting at home edit photo. I need something on the go, there is Adobe Lightroom app on iOS but I really do not feel and justify enough to pay $10 USD monthly subscription. It sucks Adobe kill of all the standalone applications. Polarr is my saviour, $30 USD unlock all on iOS app sounds expensive but it is still better than paying monthly or a insane triple digits price applications. I know they can do so much more than a $30 app but again like I said at the beginning, base on what I need. Polarr is fantastic, works well with my workspace NIKON SD card lightning dongle import to my iPhone 7 then edit on Polarr. For the moment JPG mode is the only way until Polarr improve support on NEF RAW files. I’ve read up some review, not a cash cow app. It is buy what you need and what you get. You can pay for all tools except filters if you never going to use filters since you can do them manually with the tools. This is options for people, you are not forced to pay full $30 unlock all price unless you want to support the dev.

App is trash now. Spend money on real editors

This app use to be great, I’ve used it since probably 2015. Every year the app becomes worse. The weird “community” presets are 99% of the time unusable for most pictures. The locking of editing is outrageous. On top of all of this the app crashes, has bugs everywhere, and good luck trying to import a photo. The team behind this have really ruined this app completely.

Premium🙄

No no uhhuhg on

This app is such a scam don’t even buy it if you’re not gonna but premium cause there’s like nothing else I hated this app😡🙄

Great photo editing, annoying bugs

amcp93 on

I’ve been an annual premium member for quite a while but, the bugs that have existed for months now are frustrating to the point I’m looking for other apps. They are things I assumed would be resolved within an update or two but that’s not the case. The main annoyance is being logged out as soon as I leave the app (without fully closing it or background app refresh being applied). I have to get all my edits right in one go or I have to start over because the other bug is the app not remembering any past edits despite showing what has been edited before. This makes it impractical to use plus, to resign in you have to click through 3 introductory slides every single time. If the app went back to working properly it’d be 5 stars. I’ve already sent a support ticket about this so I hope it’ll one day be fixed.

My favorite editing app

Watch an ad every time you save a pic

Ya deer-lols gohhh on

Absolutely horrible. I used to use this app all the time for editing, and it never made me WATCH ADS TO SAVE PICTURES. Unbelievable. It was bad enough that we can only scan 3 filters at a time, but now we have to watch ads to save the pictures, and you have to watch it after EVERY. SINGLE. PICTURE. YOU. SAVE.

Not Worth it

Had loved this app since 2016, now you have to pay to even breath using this app. You’re better off using literally anything else.

premium

keikyannnnn on

Canada

stop hiding everything behind a paywall subscription. i would be ok with one time payment, but subscription for something like this is stupid

Too greedy, not even that good

Akiramitshuko on

Canada

This was a good app, but now its asking us to download premium because its popular and you want to gain more money? The fact that we have to watch an ad every single export, is a big waist of time. Your app sucks, I recommend Prequel better.🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
