Polarsteps: Plan & Track Trips

Application asks and constantly nagging about too broad permissions for localisation and photo library. If I don’t permit app to do something I don’t and this is my personal data I don’t want to share with anyone. Other applications doesn’t nag me so much about it. One star as I actually can press a BLUE very small plus sign to add a point, BUT I have to select position every time even it’s the same trip

Great app for travel journal.

I love this travel app. Amazing way to remember trips and share with friends. I would be great I you could allow to hide picture circles on map. Sometimes the path is invisible because of all the photos.

The Travel Tracker feature barrels works – the only thing I get is straight line between a daily point.

Świetna aplikacja do tworzenia mapy podrozy. Lokalizacja w tle tworzy dosyć dokładna trasę, którą przebywaliśmy i nie zużywając dużo baterii. Można przechowywać zdjęcia a także używać offline. 5/5

It is a very nice application. I just downloaded it and test:). Though I would like to share with you my comments in regards of some options in photobook. All suggestions below are rather for improvement and enhance the app flexibility not a voice of complain. App is really interesting. 1) cover photo could be selected separately from those that are in the book. If traveller takes more than 4000 photos one of them may be good for front cover another for back cover. 2) front title: I don’t know how to remove preset year of the trip that shows up. If I indicate year of the trip in the title it is doubled with that preset. Of course I may not indicate year of the trip in the trip’s title but than fonts are different and doesn’t look nice. 3) fonts: i hope soon you would add more sizes and TrueType fonts to the app so users would play with it in their trips. 4) agreed with the previous comment: pity there is no option to describe a picture as a separate textbox with selection of backgrounds, fonts (sizes, types and Color) :)). 5) waste of first page - instead of printing information about the author it would be used for author’s description of the trip (details that can’t be included later) or pictures from the trip:), foreword or list of travellers, photographers with description who is who. Picture of author and name could be on the cover (textbox placed by the author with many options of fonts, sizes and colours) or back cover at the bottom. What if there are more authors of the photobook? App account may be for one person but photographers many. Where to honoured them in the book as authors? 6) Drag and drop - useful too for managing pictures in each step. Now newly added pictures are at the bottom of the step. There may be 4000 pictures and many in each step to be added. If creator of the book would like to add photo taken earlier now has to delete all photos from the step and add them chronologically again. Drag and drop to change the order of photos would be very handy. 7) background of each page and step: each step or groups of steps could have sort of defined by the owner template or set the same theme (to separate form the previous step i.e.). Each page could have the option for coloured background or selected (faded or not) picture. 8) pictures on each page could have the option to be movable by the owner to be able to change their size, location transparency for example. 9) all data provided by default on the trip (distance, days etc) could be text

Używałem podczas całego miesiąca miodowego, dodawałem lokalizacje i zdjęcia, po czym zamówiłem książkę, która jest u mnie w domu, ładnie wyglada na półce o czasami do niej wracamy. Niezapomniane wspomnienia w dobrym, drukowanym wydaniu. Jedyny problem to pamiętanie o włączaniu aplikacji...
