## Pollen Wise Description
Pollen Wise has reached version 5! We've been hard at work transforming data from the network of Pollen Sense sensors into a model that includes greatly improved forecasting.

Own Your Seasonal Allergies with Pollen Wise! Using a robust network of sensors around the United States and select other countries, Pollen Wise provides up-to-date pollen counts to help users mitigate allergens and avoid seasonal allergy symptoms. Customize Pollen Wise to put emphasis on the allergens that impact you the most, while still seeing levels across categories!

Pollen Wise is the only seasonal allergy app providing hourly allergen reports! Competing apps either use counts from yesterday or various other algorithms based on daily counts.

The advanced Automated Particle Sensor (APS) by Pollen Sense uses AI image processing to analyze images taken via a microscope to identify and classify allergens down to individual species. Particularly sensitive to Ragweed? Pollen Wise has you covered! Specific trees during tree season have your nose running? APS sensors find those too!

Airborne particulate levels can vary dramatically through the day! With Pollen Wise, you can see an up-to-date snapshot of allergens nearby and better plan your outside time.

The allergen journal feature allows you to log your symptoms to later see snapshots of your symptoms and allergen levels at that time. Please consult with a specialist if you suffer from seasonal allergies. As airborne particulate levels are impacted by weather conditions, levels can change dramatically.

While many features of Pollen Wise are free, some features require a subscription (Pollen Wise Plus). Unlock access to more historical data, an upgraded journal experience, home/lock screen widgets, and more with Pollen Wise Plus!

## Pollen Wise Reviews in United States

### *---- "This is not following my location?????"
I live in two parts of the country. I am now in Rochester NY, under high heat and humidity, an an air warning. Mold is toxic to me and I have no idea what it is here. Please advise.
-- Dunderlee, 2026-07-15

### *---- "App is broken for a week"
Does not render any data for the last week or so, just keeps refreshing the UI.
-- stochasticdev, 2026-07-11

### *---- "Less than Worthless"
I have low requirements - I just want to see the pollen counts for today and a few days before. Despite the pictures in the app description, none of the information is present. All I can access is a useless “allergy journal” that allows me to enter if I had runny eyes today.

For health reasons, I need pollen counts to gauge the safety of outdoor activities. This information used to be available on websites. Now, they want to just send people to a worthless app that risks the health of people when we cannot access data that is supposed to be publicly accessible.
-- Shadow Crane, 2026-07-10

### ***** "App is Not WORKING"
The App Won’t Load
Just Keeps Goes in Circles Loading⭕️
-- Gotta LoveCowgirl Boots, 2026-07-08

### ***-- "Expensive"
Assuming that the data is reliable, this is really the only app I found that gives you measured data rather than estimates and algorithm forecast.

The UX is a little wonky, but I can overlook that as annoying as it is.

My main problem is $50 a year for the pro level, which is what it takes for the widget to work. It’s hard to justify paying that much unless my health absolutely depended on getting an accurate reading, which it doesn’t.

Widget accuracy is a convenience to me, not a necessity, and I’m probably not alone in that regard.
-- uinazi, 2026-06-04

### *---- "Great when it works"
Very sketchy performance. I have paid for the expanded features but I frequently have to go back into the app and “restore” my status as a paid account. The widget, which I rely on, hardly ever works anymore.
-- jasplk, 2026-04-15

### ***-- "Mold Counts"
I really wish that this app had mold counts. I am most allergic to mold and this app is of limited use to me without tha mold counts.
-- !Wheezer!, 2026-04-06

### *---- "Paywalled"
Can’t access anything beyond what other weather apps provide unless you pay. But my biggest gripe is that you can’t even answer the question whether you have a sensor close by for free. Why would I pay for something before knowing if there is a Pollen Wise sensor in my area first? If I pay for the app and find my closest sensor is 50+ miles away, you will have just stole my money, so I won’t be doing that.
-- blah06014650, 2026-04-03

### *---- "👎🏼"
Was my favorite seasonal app but they took the hourly away for free users and ultimately made the app useless.
-- Nosbugtu, 2026-02-02

### *---- "Got worse over the years"
Was great a few years ago. The imaging of particles at each sensor was pretty cool, not sure where that went with the recent update. Also the new update seems inaccurate. Levels often read as low when other apps show moderate dust or mold. Deleted
