My pool is a bromine pool. That’s not an option in this app.
I was a new pool owner. Still am. However I don’t feel like it. Between buying a good robust Taylor kit, this app, and some hour a week, I know how to manipulate and manage my pool to my liking. The app makes the math easy and it is verified by the results I get when I follow up after chem additions 24hrs later. Can’t be happier with the app and its results. Only thing I want added is the ability to toggle the alerts for “out of ideal range” off. If I’m setting my ideal target already, then benchmark the alerts to that,or allow us to toggle them off,or allow manual ranges to be set. Otherwise I’m satisfied.
This app is from TroubleFreePool which is a non-profit forum of pool owners who want to help other pool owners enjoy beautiful, clean swimming pools without using more chemicals than necessary. They are super knowledgeable and very helpful. This app helps pool owners know exactly what chemicals are needed and how much of each chemical to use. Great app for a great forum!
What happened in the update to my pool app? I should’ve never updated. Layout is awful. ☹️🫣
I’m still not crazy about the new color scheme but do like that you’ve restored some of the old features like number of days since last test and target ranges, so thank you for that. But why don’t I get the smaller squares on my overview tab to show all my results on a single page without scrolling? I’m using iOS and a screenshot in the iOS App store shows it this way. Plus a friend using your android version has it this way as well.
Latest update has a bug. Example when trying to input. Target free chlorine it does not allow to erase the digit that is currently there and just keeps adding more digits.

I love this app. Have used it for several years to calculate and track everything for my pool. Only bummer is an update from a month or so ago wiped my history. I emailed for help but haven’t gotten a response.
The return of some sorely missed features is great - such as the top text ideal/recommended summary. UI is overall easier to read also. I use the app multiples time a week!
