## Porch Swing Description
Everything on Porch Swing is free. Just neighbors giving away things they no longer need.

Need a stroller before the baby comes? A desk for the spare room? A jacket your
kid will outgrow in a year? Someone nearby already has one sitting in a closet,
and they would rather it went to you than to a landfill.

DISCOVER GIFTS NEARBY
+ Everything is free
+ See exactly how far away each gift is
+ One comment says you're interested
+ Save money while saving landfill space
+ No Facebook account required

DECLUTTER WITHOUT LEAVING HOME
+ Snap a photo to create a post in 30 seconds
+ Clear a closet in one go with bulk posts
+ Pick who gets it — or let a random draw decide for you
+ Never retype your address; saved pickup instructions go into every chat
+ Neighbors pick up gifts from your porch, avoiding landfill

HOW IT WORKS

1. Join your neighborhood group.
2. Browse free gifts nearby, or post something you're done with.
3. Comment on anything you'd like.
4. The giver picks a recipient and you arrange pickup in chat.
5. One more usable thing stays out of the landfill.

WHY NEIGHBORS USE IT
Reusing what's already on your street saves money, keeps good things out of the
waste stream, and introduces you to the people who live around you.

## Porch Swing Reviews in United States

### ***** "10,000x better than FB"
This app is superior to random Buy Nothing FB groups. I love all the features and cannot say enough good things! A great alternate without worrying about privacy.

### ***** "Details make this app!"
I’m loving this app as an alternative to using the FB group, but also loving the great features they’ve added - you can mark things pending, picked up, gifted or fulfilled; it notifies you when you’re selected, or not, and you can message people from within the app. Makes the Buy Nothing process even easier!
