Reimagine the present. Explore the depth of history and heritage surrounding five active ferry ports on the Irish Sea: Dublin Port, Rosslare, Holyhead, Fishguard and Pembroke Dock. This app allows the user to download their choice of curated experiences, each providing a vision of port life, creativity, history and heritage. • See ports differently through walking tours, multimedia collections and stories. • Cross the Irish Sea and learn about the history of your journey, past and present. • Explore the region by linking port life to unexpected cultural institutions, attractions and sites of natural beauty that await you a short journey away. • Connect Ireland and Wales over the sea, learning about the ties that bind across centuries. The material in this app comes from the members of port communities, creative practitioners, and academic researchers from a wide range of backgrounds. Port Places has been created by Ports, Past and Present, a project led by University College Cork in partnership with Aberystwyth University, the University of Wales Trinity St David and Wexford County Council examining the cultural heritage of the ports in the Irish sea basin. Funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Ireland Wales Cooperation programme. ## Port Places Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource125/v4/a2/95/ba/a295ba14-ebcf-cd6c-0de2-b495a81d9eaf/e36337b3-dfff-45ba-b10a-fc98db469118_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_12_Pro_Max_-_2021-05-31_at_21.33.47.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource115/v4/f2/30/9f/f2309f09-b766-c454-890c-21f4402d6922/5f2a05c8-77d5-477b-9fef-5f7d094271d2_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_12_Pro_Max_-_2021-05-31_at_21.34.27.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource125/v4/6c/a8/d9/6ca8d929-8c47-0591-ce59-968350da4781/b2fd7d3c-0352-4145-a44e-f245ebfa49cb_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_12_Pro_Max_-_2021-05-31_at_21.34.36.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource115/v4/89/ff/93/89ff93d2-4e5f-b5e6-45c8-3247c042ad52/7190fff9-04b2-4cd3-9d24-6a405091796a_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_12_Pro_Max_-_2021-05-31_at_21.33.53.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource115/v4/76/df/f4/76dff48f-ac35-769e-6a10-22000e295463/45deeb2a-4b3a-4877-84bc-8ef3b4354f65_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_12_Pro_Max_-_2021-05-31_at_21.34.11.png/1284x2778.png) ## Apps Similar to Port Places - [The Coig](https://apptail.io/app/the-coig-Jkt/australia) - [Skipton Castle Woods](https://apptail.io/app/skipton-castle-woods-Qgz/australia) - [Smithills - Woodland Trust](https://apptail.io/app/smithills-woodland-trust-Sgz/australia) - [Fingle Woods](https://apptail.io/app/fingle-woods-YyB/australia) - [YourTour® Real & Virtual Tours](https://apptail.io/app/yourtour-real-virtual-tours-lBM/australia) - [Vestego: Curious Travel](https://apptail.io/app/vestego-curious-travel-oQEl/australia) - [Maier Privathotels](https://apptail.io/app/maier-privathotels-FlVm/australia) - [Ross-on-Wye Trails](https://apptail.io/app/ross-on-wye-trails-iLgp/australia) - [Barrow Dock Museum Explorer](https://apptail.io/app/barrow-dock-museum-explorer-CRzs/australia) - [Tawe Trails | Llwybrau Tawe](https://apptail.io/app/tawe-trails-llwybrau-tawe-FUzv/australia) ## Port Places Available In - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/port-places-qsPi/australia) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/port-places-qsPi/canada) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/port-places-qsPi/united-kingdom) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/port-places-qsPi/new-zealand) - [Saudi Arabia](https://apptail.io/app/port-places-qsPi/saudi-arabia) - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/port-places-qsPi/united-states) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
