## PORTA Description
PORTA ist die Deutschschweizer Sammlung von Gebärden, die den Möglichkeiten und Bedürfnissen von Menschen mit geistiger und mehrfacher (Sinnes-)Behinderung entsprechen. PORTA ist gleichermassen anschlussfähig an die Lautsprache und die Deutschschweizerische Gebärdensprache DSGS. PORTA öffnet damit die Türe zu jeder sprachlichen Entwicklung
Die PORTA App beinhaltet die PORTA Gebärden. Zu jedem Begriff gibt es eine Gebärde mit Gebärdenzeichnung, Video und Ausführungsbeschreibung, sowie ein Begriffsbild. Die App ermöglicht das Suchen von Gebärden zu bestimmten Begriffen. Zusätzlich enthält die App ein Lern-Spiel. Ähnlich wie in einem Memory soll hier dem Begriff die passende Gebärdenzeichnung zugeordnet werden. 
Die App kann frei ohne weitere Angaben verwendet werden. Durch eine Registration innerhalb der App mit Email und Passwort werden weitere Funktionalitäten frei geschaltet:
•	Erstellung eigener Kataloge
In eigenen Katalogen können individuelle Sammlungen von Gebärden zusammengestellt werden. Dazu können PORTA-Gebärden übernommen und bei Bedarf mit eigenen Gebärden (siehe weiter unten) ergänzt werden. 
•	Erstellung eigener Gebärden
Die Erstellung eigener Gebärden ermöglicht es z.B. eigene Namensgebärden oder spezifische Gebärden für ein Kind zu dokumentieren. Die Gebärden können mit einem eigenen Foto oder Video hinterlegt werden.
•	Erstellung von Arbeitsblättern
Aus den Gebärdenkatalogen können Gebärden für ein Arbeitsblatt im Wordformat ausgewählt werden. Nach Auswahl von Gebärden wird das Arbeitsblatt an die hinterlegte Emailadresse gesendet.
