## Porteño Spanish Description
Curious why Argentines say they speak castelleno, not español? Why do they called you "che" or "boludo"?

Porteño Spanish teaches you the particularities of the language spoken in Buenos Aires.

Lunfardo - as the Argentines call their slang - comes from a mixture of Italian immigration, neighboring Brazilian Portuguese, and underworld elements.

Even if you speak Spanish fluently, the app is essential for understanding Porteños.

Features Include:
• Dictionary of Porteño Lundardo phrases
• Study quiz to really learn
• Send phrases to friend or make additional suggestions

## Porteño Spanish Reviews in United States

### **--- "No audio"
The audio option seems to be unavailable, i fe as though it is essential to hear the word
-- H2587, 2024-08-03

### ***** "Me cague de risa"
Argentinian myself 👋 this app is so funny and is exactly how argentinians speak! I love the "buenisimo" and "qué bajón" part when make the quiz!

### **--- "Needs example sentences; limited dictionary"
Very few entries per letter, and no example sentences for those given. It's one thing to know what it means when I hear it, but it's another to use it properly myself. Please add example sentences and expand your dictionary!
-- ErinM1982, 2019-02-07

### ***** "Love it! Me super encanta"
As a porteña myself I wanted to see if this app measured up to our dialect- it does!! Really a great way to reconnect on some “lunfardo” and introduce our castellano to the masses.
-- AzulLA, 2018-04-16

### **--- "Audio does not work for me"
Audio does not work for me
-- c1vpmerch, 2015-05-01

### ****- "Legit but no audio"
The Argentinian Spanish in here is pretty accurate and thorough- definitely approved by native Argentinians that I know and from what I've seen in Argentinian TV shows. However, the audio does not work.
