App & Food are lousy
First, the food is overpriced. Second, there is no ability to customize an order or send a message like, please put on the side, or please make sure my beef sandwich has beef and not all fat on it.

This app has given me so much trouble signing in that I am done with it. Good by.
Great food. Great service, Bad APP
Shout out to Ft Worth TX Portillo’s for saving the day. I had placed catering order online 2 weeks ago. Tried to confirm on APP which was impossible. Got to store on order. Pam and staff to the rescue pulled the large order together in 10 minutes and saved the birthday dinner. Thankful for great customer service
Sample day
They ran out and samples so early yesterday. Only thing they had at 1:30 was mostaccioli , no meatballs, beef or salad . They did have the hot pepper mix and salted caramel cake . Did not replenish anything but the cake in the 30 Minutes we were there eating our food that we ordered . Many were disappointed.
No rewards for loyal customers
They don’t offer any reward program for people who come all the time. I guess they’ve got us addicted to the so they know we’ll come back regardless of a reward? With the cost rising these days, I find myself coming to Portillo’s less and less. A rewards program on the app would be appreciated. Also, I just tried adding a new credit card and the app isn’t allowing me to add one.
Good food bad app
Keeps crashing won’t let me login saying not available at this time
Food received not correct
I placed an order on the app. I did not receive all of my order. The app says to call the individual location. Called multiple times and they hung up each time.
App thinks I’m not in North America
I’ve deleted the app and redownloaded it twice. It continues to say that the app is restricted to North America. Last I checked, Phoenix, Arizona is in North America. I would give zero stars if I could. Never download
Get with the times
Errors logging in. Doesn’t support Apple Pay. I’m not digging out my card or giving you that info. I’ll get Portillos another day I guess.
Mediocre food, Super Slow Service
We ordered & dined in waited almost 25 minutes, fries were super salty. I couldn’t find a manager to advise. While eating my food I downloaded the app to take food home, thinking it’ll be quicker than standing in line again….Wrong. Food at this writing now 15 mins late. food again not delivered as promised. Very slow service. I’m forced to wait.
