## Poughkeepsie Journal Reviews in United States

### ***** "PJ is a great communication method"
This newspaper has kept me up to date and informed in a great way for many years. I have muddled through the many changes knowing that the purpose of this forum is to get the news to as many people as possible in a moral and fair way. I am now living in another state and still go to the PJ for daily news.
-- LLLearner71, 2026-01-10

### ***** "Pojo"
Excellent
-- Kat Abby, 2025-12-30

### ****- "Finally a better way to view online content!,"
Switching to your latest took a LONG time but much better than earlier.
My main complaint however is the lack of reporting local sports and results. We have a Division I program in Marist college and a number of top notch high school sports programs in the mid-Hudson valley…..but almost no coverage.
Come on!! I know the Journal is now owned by Gannet which is a national company and we get access to USA Today. That’s great but disappointing you can’t cover local teams better. Even when they have success in state tournaments the coverage is pretty sparse. Just saying!
-- zeke6872, 2025-12-14

### ***** "Electronic"
Just changed to the online version of the Journal. I like it much better that the paper delivery.
-- R John R, 2025-08-16

### *---- "Don’t get rid of the “Print” Version"
Your updated app dose NOT format properly. Please do not take that away. Keep it as an option. Your updated version may have some improvements but the e-newspaper function is not good. Does not format the same as the previous app. Please keep the Print version available.
-- Mlomuscio, 2025-04-24

### ***** "Pomo print version"
Please fix the e print version. A black page and it freezes in the USA Today section.
-- Popstel, 2024-12-01

### *---- "House fire in Salt point, Woman and child perish."
Very disappointed that you apparently didn’t find this news worthy. It was a terrible experience for police and fire service, yet nothing in our local paper.
-- Blth857, 2024-10-16

### *---- "Worst site ever"
Nothing works. You can never find the area to report a delivery issue
-- Jay and Gee, 2024-08-19

### *---- "Previous app was much better"
“0” Star but not an option. This new app is not reader friendly at all. It is unsteady on the iPad screen and hard to magnify the article you want to read. This is not an improvement at all. I used to be able to use my iPad screen to magnify while reading, not working on this new app. Advertisements at every opening, just horrible. Give us the option to stay on the previous app until developers stabilize the reader view so we are not getting impatient and cancel subscriptions.
-- Santagate3, 2024-04-18

### ***-- "It mostly works"
Frequently freezes in enewspaper mode for several seconds. Sometimes looses access to local paper or to US News. Sometimes just hangs and a forced stop is needed. This is on an iPad.
