## Pourledger Description
Pourledger is a private whisky tasting journal and cocktail recipe manager for people who take their drams seriously. Record every bottle, score it on 100 points, and explore 160 years of cocktail history — on a device that never phones home.

THE JOURNAL
• Log name, distillery, region, type, age, ABV, cask, and price
• Capture nose, palate, and finish for every dram
• Rate on a 1–100 scale in the tradition of serious whisky criticism
• Add photos and browse them in a full-screen carousel
• Search, filter by region or type, and sort by rating, ABV, or date added

LABEL SCANNER
• Photograph a bottle and pull text straight off the label with on-device OCR
• Auto-fills name, distillery, ABV, and age — no typing
• The image never leaves your phone

CLASSIC COCKTAILS
• 15 whisky recipes from Jerry Thomas's 1862 "How to Mix Drinks, or the Bon-Vivant's Companion" — the first cocktail book published in America
• Original 1862 text preserved alongside modern measurements
• The Whiskey Cocktail, Blue Blazer, Mint Julep, Whiskey Toddy, Irish Whiskey Punch, and more

YOUR OWN RECIPES
• Build custom cocktails with ingredients, glassware, method, and step-by-step instructions
• Duplicate any classic as a starting point and make it your own

BACK UP & SHARE
• Export your journal and recipes as a .whiskey file via AirDrop, Files, or email
• Import on any device running Pourledger

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no sign-in
• No analytics, no crash trackers, no third-party SDKs
• Zero network connections — works in full Airplane Mode
• Your data stays on your device, always

ONE-TIME PURCHASE
Free for 7 days with full access. After the trial, a single $4.99 purchase unlocks the app forever. No subscription, ever.

You must be of legal drinking age. Please enjoy responsibly.
