PPSSPP is the original PSP emulator for mobile devices. It runs a lot of games, and on most modern iOS devices, it will run a majority of games with great performance.
No games are included with this download. Use your own real PSP games and turn them into .ISO or .CSO files, or simply play free homemade games, which are available in the built-in "homebrew store".
The PPSSPP project is in no way affiliated with Sony. PSP is a trademark of Sony.

PPSSPP Gold FAQ
Is PPSSPP Gold free?
PPSSPP Gold is not free (it costs 59.00), however it doesn't contain in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is PPSSPP Gold legit?
✅ The PPSSPP Gold app appears to be high-quality and legitimate. Users are very satisfied.
So I had downloaded the original version first and decided "you know what I'll support the dev?"
BIG MISTAKE:
For any of you out there, considering doing this, just consider the fact that you're going to have to add all of the games that you downloaded on the free version to the gold version!!!!!
Oh my God!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Awesome app otherwise!
Love the app but …
But ever since the most recent update on the swipe to left gesture being disabled now shows that blurred bar on the bottom when I play games using an external controller which is quite annoying. Would love an option to enable that back or have a dedicated on/off toggle for it. I didn’t see any performance difference since the description did say it reduced touch screen performance. Nonetheless, I’m still giving it 5 stars because it’s a fantastic PSP emulator.
Nice but a couple issues
I was a nintendo kid so the only hand helds i had were the GBA and the DS family of portalbles, so it’s nice to beable to play all sorts of games i never had the chance to when i was younger. Though i have found a few issues, in a few games like patapon the key board doesn’t pop up or give the ability to chose a name. And in every game i tried whenever i try to make a save state the app crashes
iPhone 12 Mini Issue
Wanted to support the dev(s) with this awesome “retro” emulator so I got the paid one. Only problem is ‘Save State’ does not work, anytime I try to save my GoW progress the app force closes and I have to restart my whole progression. Please fix
Good
Finally the PPSSPP is back on iOS without the need of jailbreaking your device (if that’s even still a thing). Wanted to show my support by buying the gold edition considering I had a few bucks to spend. There’s a few bugs here and there where the app force closes, unsure if that’s cause of the games downloaded or if it’s the actual app. I also have battery percentage enabled but it doesn’t show my battery life. These are really the only complaints.
Awesome, but missing 60fps by default.
On other devices like my Steamdeck this emulator had a 60fps option that could be applied to any game you play. This version did not have a way to do that “out of the box.”
I was able to find some code online and enter it into the emulator as a cheat to force 60fps and it works great.
Aside from that work around this emulator works like a dream on IPad and is still 5 stars!
Love it!
My first handheld I could buy with my own money was the original fat PSP. I’m getting high on the nostalgia this brings me!
Also thank you to the developers that brought this to iOS I will gladly pay to support projects like these.
The best psp emu
Simply amazing quality and emulation which is totally worth supporting the dev, also allows me to stay away from the regular App Store garbage mobile apps.
Funn !!
Good for playing madden and it works on iPad And it wrok without internet connection
Phenomenal
Finally having ppsspp on iOS is such a game changer. Best emulator I’ve ever used hands down, it works perfectly. Only issue is that there seems to be no option to change your nickname so if you are doing anything that requires that sadly it won’t work.
