Since 2012, we've helped thousands of expats, travellers, and students worldwide learn Portuguese. Our small-but-mighty team focuses on only 1 language, so we can take a more practical, human approach to the unique challenges of learning European Portuguese: closed vowel pronunciation, the subtleties of formal vs. informal language, and much more. Practice Portuguese was founded when Joel (from Canada) struggled to find non-Brazilian learning resources, so he teamed up with Rui (from Portugal) to solve this once and for all! ** TRUSTPILOT SCORE: Excellent 4.9 / 339 Ratings ** “I've studied four languages so far in my adult life, and Practice Portuguese is by far the best experience I've had.” – Carrie Chauhan “Instead of just copying what every other language learning app does, the team seems to actually think about what would be useful to a learner” – Audrey SPEAK PORTUGUESE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE • Read, write, listen, and speak your way to fluency! • Interactive lessons, from A1 (beginner) to B2 (advanced) • Learn grammar & culture via engaging Learning Notes, with real-world insights & audio examples • 800+ Portuguese dialogues with translated subtitles, speed controls, vocabulary & expressions list, and comprehension quizzes. This app is the best if you’re looking for something like Babbel, for European Portuguese. Really great content! -- User81037, 2025-03-19 ### *---- "Fake reviews?" Im confused about the good reviews. Each action is extremely slow to load. I thought maybe I could develop patience and try paying for it anyway, but on the sign-up page, there is no submit button. Im sure glad I didn’t pay for it, as it seems unusable. Im sure the content has value but between the extremely slow load times and being unable to sign up, I don’t think these guys are tech-ready. -- Hanark987, 2025-03-18 ### ***** "Best language learning app their is" I’m about to renew for the third year. This app is amazing. The duo behind this app offer a lot of free information on the web, YouTube, and other platforms. But it’s well worth investing in this app to get access to the rest of their content. There’s a lot of it! It’s so well organized and you have the option of working your way through structured lessons, jumping about to specific topics, and practicing your favourite verbs. I bought so many different apps to learn European Portuguese, but this one is the one that I have kept using. It’s an extensive collection of videos, audio, and text. With easy to use tests to check your learning progress. -- rovingjay, 2025-03-17 ### **--- "What’s it like?" Although I downloaded the app, unfortunately it’s not possible to find out what kind of learning scenarios this app has unless you become a paid member. Especially with learning languages, one needs to see the methods used as not all methods work for all people. Sadly, none of the lessons are included before paying. Not even the very first -- DanceOn!, 2025-03-12 ### *---- "Non functional" Just downloaded app and every time I try to make an account (I click on sign up) it just takes me back to the home page. -- Ashmisha, 2025-02-05 ### *---- "Can’t access activities" I wanted to see what the activities were like before subscribing because $20 a month is a lot, but all it will let me do is read an article on how to get started.. In response to the developer: saying “most features require a paid subscription” actually isn’t that clear. “Most” implies that there will be something unpaid in order to trial before buying. It’s disappointing because I might actually have gotten the subscription if I could have some semblance of what I would be paying for. -- Melissa.Marris, 2024-11-14 ### ***** "Love this app" This app is amazing. There are so many resources, audio recordings of EVERYTHING, super detailed explanations of grammatical concepts better than anything else I've seen. If you are trying to learn EU Portuguese, there really isn't a better resource out there. It’s easy, fun to use, the support is stellar, and you can tell that creators of this app know a lot about the science of language learning. -- Cori 1345, 2024-10-03 ### ***** "This app is definitely worth the money" It’s only been 3 months, and I have been learning european portugués so fast my partner’s family is portugal is so impressed haha. This app is so much better than ones like Duolingo that i have tried before for other languages! The written lessons, shorties, translation tools, and so much more make it so perfectly designed to learn the language. Keep it up, i love it! -- Amy Nystrom, 2024-08-31 ### ***-- "Pace too slow, too repetitive" Wish there was a way to adjust the speed of learning. I don’t need to identify what a pen is 300 times. -- Michael Hadida, 2024-05-09 ### ***** "Excellent" I tried a few other avenues to learning European Portuguese before stumbling on this app. I’ve been using it daily for a few months now and it still surprises me how comprehensive it is. If you get tired of one style of learning, you can easily choose another. There are blogs, podcasts, short stories, reviews and more. It’s simply excellent. I don’t know how it could be any better. It’s worth every penny. -- lluhfamily, 2024-04-20 [View all Practice Portuguese reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Practice Portuguese In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | 1 Month – Premium Membership | $19.99 | ## Practice Portuguese Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Grossing | Portugal | Education | #20 | | Top Grossing | South Africa | Education | #45 | | Top Grossing | Ukraine | Education | #83 | | Top Free | Portugal | Education | #196 | ## Practice Portuguese Discovered Keywords -
