## Pray As You Go Description
Who are we?

Pray As You Go is a home for the rhythm of your prayer life. We are a Christian prayer app; an audio sanctuary enabling you to find space in your life, to root and recharge with consoling guidance and inspiration, available wherever you go.
We use contemplative prayer reflection, scripture and music to help you embrace both the steady rhythms of daily devotion and the deep moments of discovering God.
All of our content is always free, no subscription required.

What do we offer you?

We have been accompanying prayer journeys for 19 years. At the heart of our work is our daily guided prayer session, lasting 10-13 minutes. Even in the short time, many people's lives have changed over the years through an encounter with Christ.

Whether you're looking to have a steady rhythm with our daily prayers, or explore our wider content including Examen review prayers, imaginative contemplations, sleep prayers, mental health prayer guides or just to stay close to Scripture, we've got content for you.

We also have a range of prayers for children and guides available in sign language.

What spirituality do we use?

We are based on the spirituality of St Ignatius of Loyola, and we're a work of the Jesuits in Britain. This involves the practice of slowing down, looking out for the movements of God in all areas of our lives and living out all of our contemplation by putting it into action. Although we are a Catholic app, our audience is from a wide range of denominations (fun fact: we're about 50% Catholic, 50% Protestant), so there's something for everyone!

We’re here to help you embrace both the steady rhythms of daily devotion and the deep moments of discovering God, and we can't wait to be your companion on the journey.

## Pray As You Go Reviews in United States

### ***** "Needs debugging"
Hands down my favorite prayer app. Recently stopped working reliably. I hit the button and nothing plays. The music, the voices and the scripture passages are the best out there. The contemplative sessions are amazing.
-- sostresh, 2024-11-02

### ***-- "When it works I love it"
I find the app temperamental. The daily p red Ayer’s don’t always seem to play, but I do love be the retreats etc. I do wish there were more of them. I enjoy the Ukraine retreat … would love my re options as well he world is becoming more heavy.
-- pstat905, 2024-09-30

### ***** "Love this app"
this app has been so helpful and deepening my spiritual walk and it’s just perfect. The music, and insight is so beautifully dine.
However, I wish you would add what chapter and verse the readings come from rather than just stating it was from, for example, first Corinthians. I like to sometimes read along in my Bible or go to the reading after the devotion and it takes a while to figure out where in the chapter verse of the day came from.
Thank you🙏🏻
-- 2017intexastown, 2024-09-02

### **--- "Nice,but…"
Uneven across the board: -content is almost always fine, app is always wonky -some of the narrator voices are superb, others very distracting -music is the most uneven…some singers are inspiring, most choirs are excellent, most folk style singers’ enunciation is so poor that I skip ahead to scripture to save the irritation -the reflective comments and questions at the end are almost always on point and probing
-- merlin katz, 2024-08-27

### **--- "Great content very bad app"
5 stars for content
1 star for this new app that keeps bugging. The old app never gave problems.
I have used pray as you go for more than 7 years. iPhone user
-- GirlbossinCenturion, 2024-08-06

### ***** "Crashes"
I love this app. Such a great way to start daily prayer, but it is so frustrating when it crashes constantly
-- jwestart, 2024-04-06

### ***** "Opens but won’t play"
Like other reviews, lately it just won’t play on either of my phones - iPhone 13 & 14. Opens, but the play/pause buttons have no response.
-- Flack janders, 2024-03-25

### ***-- "Frustrated"
I love this app and use it daily. My frustration is that I need to delete it and reload it once or twice a week. This means I am a devoted user, but cannot seem to get the support. I need to not have this glitch constantly occurring. I am using the app on my iPhone 8 plus.

3/24… I love this app and I’m so sad to finally give up on it. I have donated to the organization that runs it and I still have to reload it once or twice a week or more… On both my iPhone and my iPad. Very sad day.
-- Bleewzg, 2024-03-15

### ***-- "Love the App but…"
I would rate a 5 if I didn’t have to reboot the app all of the time. There seems to be a glitch and the app doesn’t play immediately when starting a session. I always have to close out of it and reopen. Today it never started despite opening and closing a few times. I am writing this so it can be addressed because I would love to continue using it.
-- Ebayliss, 2024-03-09

### *---- "Love the content, hate the app"
I’ve listened to PAYG for well over ten years now. The content is the best, bar none. But the app stinks! It is incoherent and not at all user friendly. I listen now via Apple podcasts, which has its own set of problems (mainly, podcasts list out of order and automatically show as played and expire a day before I even get to them!). But at least they play.
