## Prayer Pause Description
The moment your salah begins, Prayer Pause locks the distracting apps pulling at you, then unlocks them the second you finish, so you can pray without your phone whispering in the back of your mind. Build a real habit of dhikr, Quran and intentional time between prayers instead of endless scrolling.

Most of us spend 5 to 6 hours a day on our phones, and most of that is mindless scrolling, dopamine loops and distraction. Prayer Pause helps you cut that down and gives your deen the space it deserves.

Pick the apps to block. Set schedules around your prayer times. When you reach for a blocked app, Prayer Pause steps in with something better: dhikr, Quran, a quick quiz or a moment of reflection. Break the bad phone habits and build better ones. Your digital detox, powered by your deen.

WHAT YOU GET

- Block distracting apps, categories and websites during salah or any time you choose
- 5 unlock methods rooted in your deen: dhikr, Quran, an Islamic quiz, reflection or dua (turn on several for a different one each time)
- Salah Focus with two modes: Honor (pull up when you have prayed) or Proof Mode (scan your prayer spot with the camera to unlock)
- Focus sessions that lock your apps for a set time or until the next prayer
- Sabr, your camel companion, who thrives when you pray on time and tires when you scroll too much
- Sabr Score, a daily focus number that tracks your bypasses, resists, prayers completed and time spent in blocked apps
- Custom blocking rules with flexible schedules and daily limits
- Islamic presets for Jummah, Tahajjud, Taraweeh and the Last 10 Nights
- Brick Mode for deep focus with zero distractions
- Screen time trends and prayer history insights
- Prayer streaks with built-in grace: one missed prayer will not always end your streak
- Prayer Calendar to mark past days, fill in a range and see your consistency
- Period Pause holds your streak and stops reminders during menses, so no broken streaks and no guilt
- Auto-blocks during all 5 daily prayers using Apple's Screen Time API
- Travel Mode with auto-detection, Qasr and prayer combining
- Real full-screen iOS alarms for every prayer time, the kind that actually wake you up
- Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets
- Live Activities on the Dynamic Island and Lock Screen
- Daily Deeds: a Quran reading, dhikr, dua and hadith for each day
- Quran Reader with all 114 surahs (Arabic, transliteration, English)
- Full hadith collection (Nawawi's 40 plus Sahih al-Bukhari, 97 books)
- Dua from Hisnul Muslim for every occasion
- Tasbih digital dhikr counter
- Accurate prayer times with prayer notifications (14 methods, auto-detect)
- Qibla compass with haptic feedback
- In English, Arabic and Urdu, with full right-to-left support

ALSO ON MAC

Prayer Pause for Mac keeps your prayers in the menu bar, and your Premium carries over automatically.

PRIVATE & SECURE

Prayer Pause uses Apple's Screen Time API. All blocking runs entirely on your device, and the apps you pick stay private, even from us. No ads.

Prayer times, Qibla, Quran, hadith, dua, dhikr, prayer streaks and the Prayer Calendar are free for everyone. Some features require a subscription.

### ***** "10/10! Helping me stay focused after Ramadan"
I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt that I had to for this app! After every Ramadan, like many others, my focus on deen tends to take a swing but I am so glad to say that this year, this has not happened. This is mainly due to this app, as the streak keeps me on track and the app keeps me off my phone. With no distractions I’m able to stay focused and continue getting better.

Whoever the owner of this app is, jazakAllah Khair!
-- Rseif, 2026-05-17

### ***** "feedback"
