Not good at predicting and hard to navigate
We are new at this app but wanted to try it for our circumnavigation. It will not work for us. There are two apps: Predict Wind and Offshore. No idea how they are connected. Also, need to buy additional hardware for position rather than being able to use what we have, Starlink.
100%wrong.
Used this app for pacific crossing, clipper route to Canada. Even had the paid subscription and it was 100% wrong on each forecast. Hopefully they can improve in the future.

Must Predict Wind 3 year membership experience
I have found that the standard membership of Predict wind under performs even when compared to the free version. In the EC the models seem to consistently under predict wind speeds and gusts by about 4-5kts. Accuracy of the daily briefing Varys too but my biggest disappointment is in the membership pricing between standard and professional along with the sign up procedures. Last year and again this year the membership expires without warning or reminder. It doesn’t allow for change in payment method. All in, I am searching for a better more fairly priced weather app.
Tidal surge
I live on a river near the coast and when the winds blows into the bay, it can warn me of possible tidal surge. I am living 1.5 meters above sea level.
Newbie out of the box
I would highly suggest that if you’re new to sailing and you’re jumping in with both feet, this is the app for you.
Evolution.
I very much appreciate how this PredictWind is constantly improving. Efficient and rapid way of comparing forecasts models. Evolving into a increasingly precise tool. Essential to any serious boater.
Unhappy
I missed the recurring payment and got charged $340 In the height of Hurricane season when I absolutely do not need this service Very Unhappy! Be Careful !

I have been using PredictWind for the two years to watch out form storms hitting our marina. The results have been extremely accurate. To within 15 minutes. I can not ask for a better tool.
