Really informative app!
I downloaded this app on its great reviews, but am incredibly disappointed by its approach to the partner section. The fact that parters are assumed to be male husbands, for one, unmarried partners and other genders also exist! But my main issue is the extremely low bar assumed of such ‘husbands’. ‘You will need to change your approach to intimacy’ was an interesting and patronising suggestion, how about basic communication with your partner? Also ‘learn to cook’ to help you wife? What is this the 1950s? I’m sure many people enjoy this app, but to have been created by a major organisation this is very unfortunate and not very reflective of modern relationships. Do better Phillips!
Good
So I’ve used this app with my first child in 2021 , however all the tools were free and you didn’t have to pay for anything. Now with my second baby 3 years later , they make you pay for the most interesting part , like hospital bag , birth plan , contraction counter etc. I feel like it was a good app the way it was , and the things is you can’t even at least but it once and have it like that. They make you pay £30 for 12 months and if a couple years later you’re with child again you have to repurchase. Greedy much
Thank you so much to the developers of this app. It was really helpful to me and gave me much confidence and peacefulness as a first time mom
The app has been a great support while I was pregnant. But how come now the baby is born I can’t update a birth date and keep using it for baby content? I don’t won’t to delete the timeline and infos shared there :(
This app has been my go to for everything baby related since I found out I was pregnant 8 months ago.. the weekly baby updates are brilliant and there are so many useful tools which I have found really helpful, especially towards the end of pregnancy (kick counter, contraction timer, baby names and many more!). I will definitely be using this app again if I ever have another baby 👶🏼 Only feedback points to make are that 1) it would be good if both you and your partner could make a joint profile to use and track on seperate phones and 2) widgets for certain tools would be really handy such as kick counter for quicker use
Options to set it up from a fathers/ partners pov. Baby loss mode. Skin colour options for the beautiful 3d visualisations. All very considered options. Also continual improvements (such as the refreshed timeline view) are very welcome - showing the app is very much always getting better. An option to save scans (like the mums bump feature) would be cool. Perhaps some way to export them as a video - slap a watermark on there for the app… just saying :)
Amazing and reassuring content.
I check this app everyday, it’s very informative and insightful. I love knowing what’s going on in my body and what stage the baby is at. It’s a great app!
