Designed by a Wedding filmmaker, it gives videographers and photographers instant clarity on what's happening now, what's next, and what's coming without ever unlocking your phone. Paste in any schedule and Prelude sorts it with AI in seconds. From there, your timeline lives on your lock screen as a Live Activity, updating every minute throughout the day. What Prelude does Paste a schedule from an email, a document, or a planning app and tap Sort with AI. Prelude reads it, builds your timeline, and gets you ready to shoot. The Live Activity keeps your next event visible on your lock screen and Dynamic Island the entire day. No tapping, no searching, no second-guessing. The Quick Tools panel puts three tools a tap away when you need them on location: a live White Balance reader using your camera, a Golden Window compass that shows the exact direction of golden hour light at your venue, and a Current Airspace map for instant drone restriction checks. Apple Watch support shows your current and next event on your wrist, with haptic cues as events approach. Photographer and Hybrid roles unlock a Shot List and live Group Shot sharing. Send a checklist to a willing helper before the group photos begin. Built for the day Prelude is made by someone who shoots Weddings. Every decision in the app comes from real experience of what it feels like to be on a timeline, in a busy venue, with no margin for confusion. The schedule lives on your lock screen. Your tools are one tap away. You always know what's next. This app is just awesome. Clearly it has been carefully built by someone who works in the wedding industry. It just works exactly how a wedding day flows. There are so many great features but I particularly love being able to instantly access venue locations at the right times of the day and having information at golden hour to hand is so well thought out. I considered myself well organised on a wedding day and then I met Prelude. -- danielkristi2006, 2026-04-29 ### ***** "Every wedding photographer (and videographer) needs this app" I really love this app, keeps me so organised on a wedding day. Love that I can copy and paste a wedding day schedule sent to me by a bride and it organises the timeline for me. Then on the wedding day it tells me what’s happening and what’s coming up in live time. I can also keep my family photograph list within the app and send it to a second photographer. Oh and tells me when gold hour is and… what direction! Amazing. -- KayleighPope, 2026-04-28 ### ***** "Incredible ⭐️⭐️⭐️" As a super organised person, and therefore a bit of a worrier when it comes to working a wedding, this app is absolutely incredible. It’s so user friendly, has amazing features (especially the location services and emergency contact section) and just takes the anxiety out of all the logistics we have to contend with as wedding suppliers. Honestly a perfect workflow addition for any supplier! Sincerely, your friendly neighbourhood videographer. -- TinBoxMemories, 2026-04-28 ### ***** "Like having a PA with you on the day." Love it. Makes such a huge difference. Can completely take your mind off what’s coming next, who’s meant to be doing what, and where you’re meant to be. All that info is literally visible on your watch and on your Home Screen at the time that you need it most. -- Bobski39, 2026-04-28 ### ***** "A game changer for us" I've been shooting weddings for years, and one of the small but persistent frustrations has always been managing the day's schedule. I used to manually add every part of the itinerary into my Apple Calendar as individual events to keep on top of timings - it worked, but it was clunky and time-consuming. Prelude has completely replaced that workflow for me. Everything I need is in one place, and it's clearly been built by someone who actually understands how a wedding day runs. It's the kind of app that you use once and then can’t ever be without. There are lots of lovely little quality-of-life features and it's obvious that a huge amount of care and thought has gone into this. Highly recommend it to anyone working in the wedding industry! -- Arrankenny, 2026-04-28 [View all Prelude for Weddings reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Prelude for Weddings In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Prelude Pro Monthly | £7.99 | | Prelude Pro Yearly | £39.99 | --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
