## PrepAlert Description
PrepAlert watches the news for the things that actually matter when something goes wrong - and helps you act on them.

It reads public feeds from BBC, Reuters, Al Jazeera, Euronews, UN News, ReliefWeb, GDACS and USGS, rates every story by severity, and alerts you about the topics you care about.

FOUR TABS, NOTHING HIDDEN
• Now - a short daily briefing, a digest of what you missed, and one filter row for all news, topics you follow, trending, near you, defence and saved items
• Map - recent events plotted by location
• Preparedness - your preparedness score, supply checklists and emergency instructions in one place
• Settings - alerts, categories, quiet hours, language

WHAT IT DOES
• Scans for water, food, energy, health, cyber, weather, conflict and natural-disaster events
• Rates every article: low, moderate, high or critical
• Notifies you on your device when something critical appears
• Shows the emergency number for the country you are in
• Available in English and Dutch

WORKS WITH PREPPERAPP
PrepAlert can hand recommended preparation actions straight to the PrepperApp companion app, so an alert turns into a concrete to-do list. Available with Pro.

PREPALERT PRO - one-time purchase, no subscription
• Alerts for every crisis, not only critical ones
• Background monitoring and quiet hours
• Automatic hand-off to PrepperApp, plus a Send to PrepperApp button
• Supply checklist with 26+ items
• Watchlist with priority alerts
• Weekly digest
• Full notification history
• Data export for supplies and bookmarks
• Per-category notification filters

PRIVACY
No account, no ads, no third-party trackers. Your watchlist, supply lists, emergency contacts and saved articles stay on your device. The only thing the app sends out is an anonymous, one-off count of installations. The full policy is linked in Settings.

IMPORTANT
PrepAlert is a news reader with an alerting function. It is not an official warning system and no replacement for government alerts such as NL-Alert, sirens or Cell Broadcast. Severity ratings are automated estimates and can be wrong. In an emergency, always call your local emergency number and follow official instructions.
