I’m so mad and sad because I want to get better at Afrikaans but I can’t find a good app that can help me I want to talk to my family in afrikaans and they would be so proud but I can’t because I can’t find a app to help me get better .

One tweak would make it a 5 from me
Great platform. Just needs the ability to record lessons so students can go back over things
Really excellent App.
I live the flexibility Preply gives you. Choose and match yourself to a suitable tutor. Manage your own schedule. If only this had been invented years ago! But it’s here now. And great payment and invoicing system. Really happy to be using this
App doesn’t allow for customisation
In the world of customisation where everyone has a need for a service that would fit their needs, it’s a shame to see a good app that doesn’t allow to buy specific amount of hours, easily pause or adjust the payment days and so on. It’s a very clunky app, there are many others that do the same job.

Convenient but clunky
Very convenient to book and learn a language when it suits you. However the app is a bit too simple, missing what I would consider simple features. Eg. You cannot delete tutors from your chat screen, even if they just seem to have appeared there and you haven’t messaged them. You cannot refine your tutor search to specific native speakers - Eg from Costa Rica, from Mexico etc. I also heard it can be annoying for tutors that students can cancel at last minute with no consequences or have to spend a lot of time doing free trial classes that don’t earn them any money and often don’t have follow up sessions. As a student I think I should have to pay even if it’s a “trial” session. The tutor is still giving up their time for you.
App does not function
App hangs or crashes and won’t move past login page.
Can’t buy 1 hour at a time
A bit of a time waster if you like to buy one hour at a time. Seriously why do I have to buy 5? I only want one!
