I’m experiencing some technical issue on Preply’s mobile app which I can’t access to my account. At the same time, I am trying to open my account on browser on my desktop, but it doesn’t response either. I’m wondering is Preply updating its browser and experiencing some technical issues at the moment?
Paid for a trial lesson, tutor rescheduled twice then just MIA. Sent enquiry in app to ask for help but no response or any actions till now. (2 weeks)
I book at 745pm but the tutor saw I book 745am
There’s an error on dates when tutor reschedule lessons when there are other lessons scheduled beforehand. Pls look into it as is very confusing.
Users beware. This website make it difficult for you to get refund even when it’s teacher who cannot meet lesson time and cancel lesson. You have to search for various information and go through multiple steps just to get back the refund for one lesson that a trial teacher cancelled.
Very bad application, always auto confirm the class, even teacher is not present. Waste too much money, no way to refund!
Total S$690 lesson I didn’t go, but they can only refund $100. Please don’t use
Her Pronunciation was precisely clean and clear.. But it’s a hard time for Chinese to master
Preply platform wrote off my 5 hours lessons when I was on holiday! I subscribed to a monthly plan (3hours/ week) with Preply, and I went on a 2 week holiday, Preply cancelled my 5 hours during my holiday, they said my lessons expire because I didn’t schedule them before a subscription is renewed. This totally doesn’t make sense: whether I schedule before or after holiday, my time to attend the lesson won’t change. This is a completely a rip-off and please pay attention when you subscribe for a plan.
I was shock to notice, that money cut off from my credit card under Auto refill, which I never informed off or choosed too. Added to that, when reached to help centre - informed off can be refund and it’s initiated. After a day, refund done but with a loss of $10 SGD! When asked back responded by Preply as it’s transaction cost. Note: This is unacceptable as S$10 is equivalent to 2 class hours. Inform your customer of this “Refill option” and keep it default as “Not auto refill”. It feels as cheated.
