Prequel: Foto Filter & Effekte

I recently downloaded the Prequel app and was shocked to discover that it automatically signed me up for a yearly subscription without my explicit consent or confirmation. There was no clear confirmation dialog, and I never authorized this purchase. This feels like a deliberate attempt to trick users into expensive subscriptions, especially since the app heavily promotes its free trial, which apparently auto-converts into a paid plan without sufficient warning. This is unacceptable and feels like a borderline scam tactic. Users should be able to trust apps to provide clear and transparent billing information, not to exploit subtle tricks to gain revenue. Apple should investigate these practices, and I would strongly advise others to avoid downloading this app unless you want to risk unexpected charges. Apps like this harm user trust and give the platform a bad name. Requesting a full refund and reporting this to Apple.

it shouldn’t be allowed by apple that companies can abuse the „in app purchases“ so companies can abuse this feature and make every app free just in order to get those download rates up BUT THEN hit you with the fricking pay wall - why is this even a thing oh my god

They took my money I never signed for subscription. I used an app for a minute and it was enough to see they don’t do what they say. Endless stupididy how they easily still the money.

Die Vorlagen sind unbrauchbar. Wenn man 9 Clips auswählt wird nur ein Clip genommen und immer wieder anders abgespielt. Scam Ende nie

Seit dem update gibt es keine Schriften mehr. Die hätte ich schon hin und wieder gebraucht. Sehr schade. Deshalb der Stern weniger. Ansonsten finde ich die App gut.

Für Männer gibt es keine guten Anime Filter jedes macht dich weiblich…. Und nach paar gratis versuchen verlangen die nicht gerade wenig…. Gibt es deutlich bessere gratis Filter

Unverschämt teuer, Finger weg! Die in der Werbung versprochenen Effekte gibt es gar nicht!

Any idea? Had the same problem on my old iPhone 8, now on iPhone 12 pro max. Weird. iOS version is supported so I’m scratching my head as to why app won’t run on my phone. Used the same iCloud account on both phones so I’m guessing it might be tied to that but not sure why it’s happening and I can’t create a new iCloud account just to try to use this one app.

Nach 15 Minuten des Test Abos habe ich es direkt storniert und die App gelöscht. Sowas schlechtes habe ich selten gesehen und knappe 6€ in der Woche dafür zahlen zu müssen ist eine pure Frechheit. Die App ist einfach nur Müll.
