Prequel: Photo & Video Filters

Free effects now have to be paid for. Hate it!

used to be my go-to editing app but now suddenly 99.9% of filters and effects have been made unavailable in the free version overnight 🥲 don’t bother

I loved prequel even if the filters that I wanted to try out was restricted it was fun to see what it had. However, I’m not sure if it’s an update but I can no longer see any stars on the filters whatsoever ? When I pick any of the filters it seems like it doesn’t even matter as you have to pay. I understand with paying for some but for first comers they could at least have a daily limit or something I read some of the other replies to the feedback and I am not talking about paying for annually or weekly I am talking about not seeing the stars on the ones that are locked :)

What’s the point of seeing an apps free when you can even use it without purchasing anything? You can’t even do a simple edit on a photo for free…

So tired of this apps promoting themselves as being for free then you download it and you alwaaays have to pay. Promote your app as it and with honesty. Stop lying to people.

really laggy and freezes all the time for me

Used to use the cyber filters on this app for videos as it was one of the best. Suddenly an update made this filter part of the chargeable subscription when it used to be part of the free version. Don't wanna have to spend around £8 a month to be able to just access the one filter that I used to use for free. Shame really as the app was great.

Use to pay but got too expensive so went to using the free version but looks like they’ve made it difficult to figure what is free or if any are. I use to love this app but just feel like they’re taking the mickey out of people by charging an arm and leg to use this app. There just no incentive for me to ever wanna pay for this app again.

I used to have this app a LONG time ago and it was great, with barely any glitches and no problems at all, using it freely. Although now, you have to PAY to download a video? I honestly think that’s OUTRAGEOUS and CRAZY! I dont want to pay even if its a small amount of money which i think is reasonable because not all of us have enough money to pay monthly, like people have other stuff to take care of to.

If you open a photo and search “gothic” nothing shows up in effects. But if you search “gothic” without a photo it finds things. It’s really counter intuitive. The effects look pretty tacky also. Not worth the money. Tacky, overpriced and counter intuitive
