Disappointed
I paid 48hkd for a magazine which should have 223pages originally, but I only got 84pages. Omg feel like being cheated.
No update newspaper since 3-3-2022
All newspapers not update, pls chk
Lots of variety and very good but a few small quirks
Fantastic variety of magazines / newspapers. Really outstanding. App looks good and has a great reading format. Search / filter functions and menu bar good. Offline downloads is fantastic for airplane use. Subscription feature great, but limited number. Quirks: annoying pop up after each download (has to be closed before any other selections), and a few other minor items. Generally, excellent!

No newsfeed customization
I have a monthly paid subscription. I tried to customize the newsfeed so that I would read news only from the newspapers I selected. Unfortunately I received this feedback from Pressreader’s customer service: “… personalizing your newsfeed is not possible at the moment. We will however take note of your comment/suggestion and pass it to the development team for further review”. In my view, lack of newsfeed customization limits the benefit of this app, which otherwise works well for everything else and it offers a quite wide array of interesting titles.

I cannot think of any reasons paying $300 each month to read China Daily.
Crashes after update
After update it simply doesn’t open. Real shame as otherwise great app.
