It freezes regularly on updated iPad
Every morning app hangs when I go to use it. Need to force exit and relaunch.
Thi is a great resource for library members
No idea what is going on with the App today but unbelievably slow and unable to open magazines to read. Not a local internet problem as no problems with other similar Apps.
Easy reference to all the major publications in the world, with a few exceptions which is their loss as I don’t bother chasing them down. Great variety and some top class reading material.
The app’s content is extensive and it is great when it works. However, it’s frustratingly consistent with freezing when the app is opened. It takes a long time to download one paper despite very good WiFi facilities.
Really enjoying this app through this winter lockdown Good variety of newspapers andmagazines
Press reader has proven very satisfactory . A really convenient way to read newspapers and I have the additional benefit of archiving all my purchases.
Pros: has newspaper layout. Which is perfect for reading on iPad. Subscription via App Store is convenient Cons: 30€pm is expensive since it doesn’t have extensive collection like apple news. Many Popular magazines are cheaper to buy directly. i Cancelled during the trial period
Disappointed with selection of my preferred newspapers.
