## PreVeil Description
PreVeil Drive
PreVeil Drive encrypts your files and lets you store, share, and access them anywhere.

PreVeil Email
PreVeil Email allows you to send encrypted messages to other PreVeil users.

End-to-End Encryption
Every document and message is encrypted with a unique key before it leaves your device and isn't decrypted until it reaches its destination. Neither PreVeil nor any third party can decrypt your data because only you have the decryption keys. Since your data is never decrypted in the cloud, you are protected even if the cloud is breached.

Uses your existing Email address:
Just as some apps use a person’s phone number to identify each user, PreVeil uses your email address. That can be your personal email address (like Gmail) or your work email address.

Easy Access from Mac and PC:
You can use PreVeil on your computer as well. After installing the PreVeil software on your computer, you can access your email from a web browser or through popular mail applications like Outlook and Apple Mail. When you use Outlook or Apple Mail, PreVeil automatically adds a new INBOX for your encrypted messages. When you send and receive from the PreVeil mailboxes, the emails are encrypted and secure.

No Passwords:
Your data is secured by something much better — encryption keys that belong only to you. Your "private key" is your gateway to the PreVeil system. It's stored only on your devices, and is not accessible anywhere else. Unlike passwords, private keys cannot be guessed by a computer algorithm or stolen from another website.

Automatic invitation to someone who isn’t a PreVeil member:
If you send an email or share a folder with anyone who is not a PreVeil member, they’ll automatically be invited to join for free. Alternatively, you can encourage them to sign up for PreVeil by visiting www.preveil.com or downloading from the Apple App Store.

Committed to your Privacy:
PreVeil cannot access your data because it's encrypted, and PreVeil will never sell your information or anything else you share with us – ever.

Visit to see how PreVeil can protect your enterprise or personal information.

## PreVeil Reviews in United States

### ***** "Easy app"
Simple and easy to use app to handle our CUI
-- Scott Earl, 2025-11-14

### ***** "Preveil"
Great product! Highly recommend.
-- Mattietegan, 2025-11-14

### *---- "Buggy and incomplete"
Misleading support documentation on using the drive client (which platforms are supported, out of date walkthroughs & screenshots). The downloads work often, but not always and for large files either not at all or freezes the drive window until a force refresh. Also, approval requests just show a blank screen and you have to go to a Windows machine with the desktop app to even approve device access requests.

Overall the app feels severely incomplete and neglected. Like the kind of tech that ceases development after the minimum viable product is published. I can honestly say I’ve never disliked an app or service as much as this one.
-- Codamodev, 2024-06-18

### *---- "Not a reputable company."
Buyer beware. Purchased their full product after being oversold and mislead. Messed up data on my hard drive. Promised a refund but then never came through. One star only because was not zero would appear.
-- BMT43, 2022-07-05

### *---- "I don’t understand your bz model"
Seems like a good idea end to end protection, but according to the data supplied by the vendor to apple, it just has to look at the content and other identity info about you, so they can what? Sell it? Help the ‘authorities"? I’m being monetized agaisnt my will. So, nah I think not. I can zip my content too and that is encrypted as well. 3 year old comments are the best you can do?
-- elspethmaly, 2021-02-28

### *---- "Feedback Circle"
Tried multiple times to install but system runs back on itself in an endless loop of asking for emails and login data.
-- SovereignTraveler, 2021-02-09

### ***** "Security without the hassle"
This app handles all the encryption seamlessly. Easy to share folders with family members and email with my accountant
-- Big Red CT, 2019-06-26

### ***-- "Great but doesn't support multiple accounts"
Works great however can't setup for additional email accounts.
