It is preferred to have the app available from day one to ease the transition for users accustomed to existing apps like Spruce. • Onboarding & Profile: ◦ Includes email verification and password creation, with clear password requirements. ◦ Users can reset their password. ◦ The profile section will allow users to view their profile details, membership information, documents, medications, and educational materials. • Membership & Billing: ◦ Patients can pay via the mobile application and update/change their credit card information. ◦ Supports designating specific cards for specific charges (e.g., membership, labs). ◦ Users can view invoices, payment history, and statements. Payment history will show invoice numbers, amounts, and methods, and statements can be filtered by date range and downloaded as PDFs for tax purposes. ◦ Legally, patients must be able to cancel their membership online directly through the app without extra steps. • Communication: ◦ Features sections for unread messages, upcoming appointments, and tasks. ◦ Patients can create new messages, select a subject, and attach files (e.g., lab reports, images, PDFs). ◦ Messages can be marked as urgent or non-urgent. After-hours urgent messages will trigger auto-responses and notify alternative providers.
