Summary and detailed descriptions are at your fingertips, plus reviews and lists of similar items. All our events are shown in the app and you can filter by location, age and event type. Want to check whether we have a book you've just seen in a café? You can scan the book's barcode and we'll check whether any branches have it. And if not you can request we purchase it. Our location finder shows you the nearest branch to where you are. You can see opening hours at a glance and get directions to any of our 19 library branches. Access digital content - ebooks, audiobooks, music, movies, magazines and more with quick links to apps from Overdrive, Freegal, Hoopla, Zinio, Freading, and OneClick digital. If you update your username/password from the default then you’re out of luck. You have to use your card number and pin. The website doesn’t let you add a pin but lets you change from your pin to a password. So bye bye to using this app once you’ve done that. Easy to see what is held & to renew. But renewal numbers are not correct. -- Ok, but could be improved, 2018-09-11 ### ***** "Why this app is helpful." I don’t live In PG county. I live in HoCo. This app is so useful. You can reserve books. If you forget your library card don’t worry. There is an virtual library card in the app! The drop system is awesome as well! I can drop off my books at the HCLS system and they will send it to the PGCMLS themselves! The layout doesn’t resemble the website at all and literally reserving an item or checking availability is a strenuous and convoluted process. It is also very difficult to see what is actually held and what is still on a waiting list. The cancel buttons on the waiting list are too large and can be accidentally pushed at anytime. I was scrolling through my list and must have accidentally canceled a request i had been waiting for. I had to request again pushing me further back in line. It doesn’t even ask for confirmation to see if the push was intentional. This needs a lot of improvement. -- Fukitthen, 2017-11-18 ### *---- "Needs a new update?" When it works, I'd give it 5 stars.
