Latest update seems to have fixed the 8x issue
But the in-app media management is very hard to use. When you want to delete media from within the app, you click the button but no response after that. Had to go to the system Album to do that.

This app is a godsend and I thank the developers profusely because this is the only app I found to date that will allow me to film in 24fps 1080p on my iPod touch 6th Gen, and for free as well! I would’ve bought the premium version if only Apple’s batteries weren’t so terrible and my iPod didn’t die every 3 minutes when not plugged in... Thank you again to those who worked on this app! I am attempting to make a short film on said iPod touch and this has been an integral part of the process and a great asset so far. Even the free version I’m using, so I would highly recommend to anyone else with a properly working old iPod touch to purchase the premium version of this if they’re interested in 24fps!
