Productive - Habit Tracker

Easy to track tasks, set cadence and manage goals.

I signed up for a free trial to test this app out, and then I did find a better app that suited my needs better. So I unsubscribed and uninstalled the app. Two weeks later, I saw a charge for about $30usd. This was strange so after digging I confirmed it was from productive app. I reached out to support one month ago, expecting a professional, and prompt response. I didn’t hear back for a week, and so I started sending an email a couple times a week to get this resolved. Two week ago they asked for more information on the charge to look into it A month later, they finally get back to me and say that since I’m subscribed, there is no wrong on their part. No refund, no apology, and no clarity as I have no record of a subscription anywhere on how not to be charged again. This is extremely frustrating.

Very limited on how many habits you can track. Plans are paid weekly which is dumb because it’s not an app that offers anything other than tracking habits. A one time purchase would makes sense but subscription is dumb and just a money grab.

App Store indicates this app is completely free without any in app purchases or subscriptions yet you’re greeted with a prompt to choose a subscription during on boarding. Please correct this as it is misleading.

i was charged although i cancelled on first day of trial. no one in customer services reaches back after a week to dispute this.

This really grinds my gears. I pressed 4.99 a week but free trial…and instantly was charged 20.00!

I’m severely disappointed that an app I really needed turned out to be a money grab. I used free trial a long while back and when it was over I was thankful I still had my habits, but then I removed some and wanted to re-add them to different places recently. To my surprise you have to pay just to add habits. So in other words nothing about this app is actually free because you can’t use it for the reason you downloaded it without paying! Truly disappointed.

It ruined and deleted my streak because I forgot to log something before 12am??? Ridiculous And there’s no way to revive the streak 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

I enjoy that you can set a habit for “every two weeks” but there’s no habit to set it for “every month”. It has to be on a specific date in the month, like for example the 5th. There are some things I only want to do once a month but not on a specific date. If I could either specify: -“once a month on any day” and/or: -“the [first/second/third/fourth/last] week of every month” (so for example “any day during the third week of each month) and/or -“the [first, second, third, fourth, last] [insert day of the week] of every month” (so for example “the second Friday of every month) that would make this app even better! I hope you’ll consider for a future update.

I enjoyed this app for a wile. You have to really build it around your life. $20/ year was alright. Jumped to $80/year… hard pass. There isn’t 4x the content now.
