The Promethean mobile app is designed for teachers and students to interact with a Promethean ActivPanel Elements and ActivPanel 9 series panel from anywhere in the classroom. Teachers also have the ability to sign in and access their profile for the ActivPanel 9 series. For IT administrators, the Promethean mobile app helps to enroll ActivPanel Elements series and ActivPanel 9 panels into their panel management to make updates easier. Students can • Wirelessly share the screen from their mobile device to ActivPanels with Screen Share • No sign-in required. This app is completely unreliable… Sometimes it works fantastic, and other times it doesn’t work at all. I literally had to stop an entire class because everything that I was doing was dependent on mirroring, something that, a smart TV can easily do with zero complications. I don’t understand why it is so incredibly difficult and hard to simply mirror but the iPad is projecting. Why do we have to go through third-party? Why can’t we simply have AirPlay embedded?
