Prometheus Reviews

Interesting

I think the opponents and suggestions are a little too passive. Opponents often bet 1/3 pot with big hands on turn which isn’t what would happen in real life. Also raise options are a bit static and no options for 3 or 4x The UI is too cartoony for me. It’s nicer than all the other platforms because the others look like an app from the 90s but the amount of colors and cartoons makes it difficult to figure out where I’m at in the app.

App does not deliver

ATXCooper on

Paying $99 a month? For what? Gave it a try for entire month. Paid $99. My advice is this. Until users actually start promoting the value of this app save your money. Like other post, I only had access to one hand a day for chart review. Very strange. When free I can understand limiting this feature but when paying full price? The battles are fun and help change your thinking a little bit. But all preflop action is automated and not sure why. Finally, you spin a wheel to win cash after each scheduled battle. Not sure why or what this is but pretty sure it’s not for real. Never won. Has anyone?

Subscription bugged, support MIA

Signed up via a promo link and did not get the discount. For a week after subscribing I did not have the promised features. Sent 4 emails asking for a refund in the first 9 days to no response. They offer refunds within 7 days. They assured me I did not email them before day 9 and that they could not find my account. Then without me saying anything they managed to find the account and cancel the subscription. No refund. Absolute scam.

Weird preflop ranges

Everything here seems okay but the preflop actions are really odd. For some reason it chooses your preflop actions for you but it way over plays hands like 4betting hands that are way too weak to 4bet

It’s interesting but has a long way to go

I downloaded the app after watching hustler stream they sponsor the stream I’m guessing here but in any case wanted to see what the app is about. It disappoints on all fronts. First the app is extremely laggy very clunky and uncomfortable not user friendly at all. I would have given it a better chance but immediately if you want to check out any of the features they promise you have to pay the $50 premium. I think that’s a recurring payment not 100% sure but in any case did not like this from the start. Maybe in the future with better coders and better UI I’ll give it another shot. Till then it gets 1 star sorry Prometheus

Scam?

I upgraded to the $50 package and then to the $100. I don’t have access to unlimited charts or anything. And let me play the entire hand so I know where I’m messing up. I understand what you are going for but no…just no

Tilt

bradowenss on

The tilt factor that comes w/ this game will have you rethink even playing poker again. It is not easily relaying the handhelp/ information to the user. I get that it’s a different scenario each hand. But I’m also not able to make any decisions preflop and I am certainly not just “calling” on a 3bp on the button with KK with 2 left in the hand still. Absolutely ridiculous! and then the system has the balls to say some of my later streets I went cold and off play. SMH. Fun, gimmicky, sure. Helpful? Maybe not really. Will I win 10k seat? Never because it’s a gimmick persuading people to buy a premium service when they can barely offer a basic ? Eh. Cool concept with a couple more years and better coders.
