The voice activation was fantastic! It worked way better than I expected. The app also includes all the basic functionality you would need. The only thing that really rubbed me the wrong way is after buying the pro version There’s still paid subscription options that aren’t unlocked. 

While ultimately, I think all these Teleprompter apps are more expensive than they should be. This is the most reasonably priced one in the bunch that delivers on what it advertises.

Added a script. Set voice mode. Pressed play on the script. Button pulses in time to spoken words showing mic is recognising script, but nothing scrolls. Completely useless.

Went to the help pages snd they’re just full of endless plugs for other products (iCast and a remote app to control the one you just bought). Seemed to imply I needed to buy these products just to get the one Insigned up to to work.

Life is too short to put up with such nonsense. Wasted way too much time just trying to get basics working, and failed. Cancelled my trial and will go back to my original prompt software which doesn;t have voice activation but does at least work and without price gouging me for one new subscription after another

I have this app for years, and it barely works. Voice track is useless. No matter the settings it doesn’t move at all. Now, there’s no setting to auto scroll. Not even at a fixed speed. Incompetent dev team. So many years and the app it’s just getting worse. Great idea though.

I highly recommend this app.
It makes speech making so easy.
I had to do a eulogy and this made it look like I had remembered my speech or better still it was off the cuff. 
10 out of 10.
I only paid the basic fee for the app which sufficed. 
I didn’t pay a subscription as the basic app for me was more than good enough.
You will not be disappointed

Just cancelled my subscription. Using your phone to move it doesn’t work. It jumps around and gets lost and makes me have to keep re-recording the piece. 

Better to use the voice activated movement which is free. This has its own issues but no better/worse than this which gist Monty each month.

I was using a free version of this app and wanted to use a remote. It told me to use the remote I should buy the pro version for £29.99 so I’ve done that, paid for it, gone to use the remote and now that’s telling me I need to pay £3 a month after I’ve already paid for the app!!!!! unbelievable how can people get away with this? Absolutely fuming.

I updated the app last night and took it to a job today-everything had reset and my scripts weren't there..it was telling me to pay an annual fee..feel cheated

You can still use the app but the settings keep getting reset everytime i close the app

I purchased the pro version a while ago have used it since fine no real complaints apart from the voice scroll feature sometimes is on even when you turn it off causing the text to jump..

I go on the app to use it today, it looks completely different is asking me to sign up to a membership (even after buying a lifetime license in the past) and is telling me my emails already exist but won’t let me log in…. Can’t use the service anymore as a result not sure what went wrong here

### **--- "April 23 Update Has Caused a Lot of Bugs"
April 23 — Awful update! Buggy as hell. Settings reset every time you shoot. Switch to horizontal filming with camera in background and it cuts in half with black screen. Can no longer align teleprompt script left or right closer to the camera. App is now buggy and crashing. Was absolutely perfect before, what a shame!

I have used this to record dozens of videos. Sometimes the voice track will skip ahead but most of the time it works very well. I’ve used it in selfie mode, and mirrored with a home made autocue and SLR camera - both ways are excellent. The customisation is helpful to get the balance right between text size and the number of words on-screen. 

I have found voice track works best when using a lapel microphone so the app gets a clean voice input. The app loses a star because when my wife used it to record videos a couple of years ago it didn’t track her voice as well - but works fine when I read her script. I don’t know if this has been rectified recently though.
