Description
Audiodeskription bedeutet akustische Bildbeschreibung. Ziel der Audiodeskription ist es, audiovisuelle Medien für blinde und sehbehinderte Menschen besser erlebbar zu machen. In Sprechpausen werden zentrale Handlungselemente, Personen, Gestik und Mimik akustisch beschrieben. Das ermöglicht ein erweitertes Verständnis des Films, ohne dessen Atmosphäre zu beeinträchtigen. Diese zusätzliche Tonspur nennt man “Hörfassung”, einen mit Audiodeskription unterlegten Film auch “Hörfilm”.
