There had to be an "app"
Here's the "app" and after a year, I have gotten almost zero worth from it:
-to upload larger files it needs a random steaming video overlay to prevent the upload in Proton Drive to fail (the application needs to be kept in the forground and active for uploads to -maybe- complete)
-can't select to backup more than x foto's from iPad to Proton Drive
-can't send maps to Proton Drive
-easy to get unresponsive (6GB iPad Pro 4th Gen)
I wish I could say this software finally saved my from the eternal struggle for disc space on iOS devices. However using the application is a struggle that stands on its won.
It does allow for occasional file access on the go but the whole combination with iOS' own abominable file management feels like a trip to 2007.
Almost perfect but…few small issues
Waiting to have a native version for macOS I’m using the iPhone version.
It’s almost perfect but some things are missing:
- when a file is renamed there is no automatic ordering (if the order was by name) and the file stays on top for example
- when sharing a folder I would like to see also a ReadOnly checkbox or something - I want to share a bunch of files/folder with someone but only in View Mode
- usage is limited on iPhone through Files app only and something the Files app is crashing with an Invalid Handler or similar message

Très bon débuts. Hâte de voir l’application évoluer
