Not Mature Enough Yet
I appreciate the dedication of the Proton team in prioritizing drive security. However, I've encountered challenges with its usability. One notable instance involved being unable to fetch an important document visible in Finder, which remained unopenable even after an extended wait. Also, a couple of files kept disappearing despite repeated attempts to re-upload them. Constant synchronization errors with specific error messages (ssl error, server is unreachable, hash conflict) accompanied me the whole way.
Given these challenges, I've decided to switch back to my old solution and try Proton drive next year. I believe, the team has the potential to refine and enhance it into a more seamless and reliable solution
