Good but …
Proton drive is lacking one key features that would make me switch : photos backup on iOS (and / or a dedicated photo apps that helps sort and view pictures a bit like what apple photo does) Nice to have : - being able to edit office documents with the web interface (or a kind of onlyoffice integration)
Good but missing features
"It's a good app, but some features are missing. For instance, we can't search for a file or within a search bar. Also, synchronization with the computer isn't available on the smartphone, and we can't view computer synchronization. Besides that, it's a good application and a great ecosystem."
Doesn't work with large files
For example when using the"make available offline" menu on a folder with something like 20 videos files the app will slow down to a crawl some videos will be marked as downloaded when they are not and the other way around too. The "files" app will then show the drive as unavailable because of an unknown error. Support will tell you to log out and then back in but I do not want todo that each time I use proton drive. Also no I am not using a pin or Face ID. Copy pasting from the drive folder to the ipad memory doesn't work for large files, but it works for small ones. As a result I was totally unable to use proton drive on an iPad yet for video editing.
Fait le nécessaire !
Application simple et ergonomique qui fait le nécessaire. Il manque par contre la fonction de recherche, cruciale dans un tas de documents.
Way below what Proton is used to provide.
Each time I launch the app I need to reconnect, despite modifying it in the settings. No I’ m completely off. This seems far from what Proton was able to provide in mail and VPN. I hope that it will be soon more usable. I have no doubt they are able to do so !
Beaucoup de dysfonctionnement
Beaucoup de défauts à se connecter. Également, lorsqu’on veut enregistrer des photos ou un fichier sur le driver, il faut quitter photo, aller dans le driver, televerser dans le driver, au lieu de simplement exporter vers le dossier, comme sur Mega par exemple. Et ne parlons pas de proton Pass, qui demande à se connecter à chaque fois qu’il faut remplir un login. La suite Proton n’est pas aboutie.
Version française
A quand la version française sur iOS ??? Pour 5 étoiles il faut vraiment une version en français !!!!!!
Meilleure intégration mail/drive et app Mac os - urgent!
Manque une app mac os et une meilleure intégration avec proton mail: impossible d’attacher un fichier dans un mail….
No search bar?
Unfortunately the iOS app has no search bar, unless I didn’t see it ? Pretty big oversight in my opinion. I’ll definitely change my review to a five star when this is fixed. Anyway, amazing replacement for Dropbox as I no longer trust them with my data.
